This painting has been in my brain for quite a while, I actually was able to put some pigment to paper 6-7 years ago, but I scraped it cause it wasn’t how I was imaging it.
(mullein, by the way, is SO HARD to paint 😅)
But, I’m really loving how this little pixie turn out, so fun and flirtatious! She’s part of a series I’ve started, combining local flora and fauna of the Prescott area with the mystical and magical. She will be on display at a Toothpick Art opening on August 28th - prints will be available soon.
