      the very idea of renovating his majesty’s palace was peculiar to ggio. he’s unsure and constantly in debate with himself whether or not it would be disrespectful in his majesty’s name. this palace was barragan’s empire, a home made for ggio and his brothers. he knew somewhere in his mind that this was wrong, but this was a new era .. one where he was his own ruler. 

     for the longest time, it was only but a mere thought----one he did not originally plan to fully act on. not until those very thoughts slipped through his mouth and voiced aloud to the one person he felt like he could truly confide in: sung-sun. he asked for her opinion without much thought and because of that, his thoughts became a reality. 

      slowly, he guided her through the palace ( there had yet to be an official title ). through the palace they trekked, dust everywhere. it was definitely not the cleanest palace. in fact, it was near abandoned to the point where everything had collected a layer of dust. it was dark. colorless. decayed. it was his majesty’s legacy after all. 

      " i don’t have anything great to say ‘bout this place besides the fact that this was where i lived under his majesty’s reign. the times i did come back here, i stayed in my room. ”

     “ it’s bland. but having the open sky right above me ain’t too bad either. ”
