❝ Glynda? ❞ His voice called out, knowing that she had already been on her way into his office. Upon entering, she would see something that was hardly seen. He was wearing a smile, sure, as well as chuckling. That was all normal, at least dependent on how stressed he was. No, the odd thing was-
❝ I... seem to have misplaced my glasses... Again.... ❞
"Professor Ozpin, would you care to join me on a walk across campus?"
Ozpin had been focusing on his desk, zoning out as he thought out the many pr-oblems and difficulties that were going on around him. He did tend to over think, and would lose track of time of how long he had been stressing over something. Hearing Glynda, eyes looked up from beyond his spectacles, and he gave a soft expression, finally breaking that worried look.
❝ I would like nothing more at the mo-ment. ❞ He stood up from his chair, grabbing his coffee mug which still seemed to be half full somehow, and smiled at her. ❝ Lead the way, Glynda. ❞
“I would love to say that I’ve been doing fine. But I’m really just tired.”
❝ That... isn’t good. You need your rest.... ❞

❝ Ah, Qwen. Long time no see. How have you been fairing? ❞
Angel flinched visibly as the thunder sounded out. Her arms hugged against her body. That was the only thing she hated…the sound of thunder.
“It’s nice to meet you, Ozpin. I’m Angel…”
“What is it that you do,…?”
❝ I suppose you could say that I am the headmaster of a rather... unique academy. What about you, Angel? ❞ He looked over at her, and saw her reaction to the thunder. A gentle smile grew on his face, and he simply just looked out yet again at the skies as the drops of water poured from the night sky.
❝ But perhaps victory is in the simpler things that you’ve long forgotten; things that require a smaller, more honest soul. ❞

The old man was offering her a job? That was definitely something that had never come up in conversations like this before. Her hand came up to her neck , nervously rubbing it as she took that thought in. But finding out what this ‘Beacon’ place was would probably a smart thing to do. Don’t just desperately start taking job offers, she reminded herself. “Sorry if this is a stupid question – but what’s Beacon?”
❝ I believe that no question is stupid. Beacon would be the school in which I look after and am Head- master for. It’s a rather- selective school, however there is always a need for someone who does well with kids. ❞ He smiled at her. Yes well, I’m sure mentioning that the sc- hool was filled with children with weapons would be a dete- rrent, but he also knew that they needed something other than well... curriculum for that.
❝ I can’t say that I’m from near here, so you not having heard of it is quite understandable. Perhaps I should introduce myself as well then. My name is Professor Ozpin, and as I said I am the Headmaster at Beacon Academy. ❞
Here we go – even strangers were pointing this whole ‘ you’re young’ crap to her. She had enough of that talk with her family. “I wasted my life on a liberal arts degree. The job market is terrible. And the job I do have pays pretty good – but is absolutely horrible. How can anyone be happy about that?”
Cue the older man chuckling, and smiling at her. She had spunk, he had to give her that. And sure, that sounded like it sucked, but then again- Destiny had a funny way of making sure that he was helping people didn’t it. Looking at her over his glasses, the grey haired male just gave a small friendly smile.
❝ Because fate sometimes has a good sense of humor. I can’t see how having a liberal arts degree is a waste. In fact, where I’m from that would make it quite the opposite. I’m sure you wouldn’t want to be bored with a hi- story lesson however. ❞ He pushed his glasses up a little, and looked at her. ❝ But, if you do need another job to go to.. I’m sure I can assist. There’d always be a place for som- eone with a creative mind at Beacon. ❞
“Explaining why would take longer than you expect. But I’m going to write it off as everything to make it easier for the both of us.”
❝ Well that isn’t a very good way to live your life. I’m not sure how you would call that easier on either of us, especially you. You’re young, you ha- ve a lot ahead of you. Perhaps you just need to remind yourself of that. It certainly isn’t the end of the world. ❞

A light smile graced the older man lips as he looked at the other behind his small glasses. He looked out into the storm that raged on in front of him. He didn’t seem to flinch as the lightening filled the sky and it’s thunder shortly following after him.
❝ I would say the same reason as you. St- orms like this tend to allow me to think clearly, as noisy as they can be. I’m sorry about startling you. My name is Ozpin. ❞ He said, looking at the woman with a soft expression on his features.

❝ Well, no not particularly. Though my line of questioning was more directed as to why you are not... ❞
