Time and Shadow: The Legend of Zelda Hero of Time AU

New blog!

So this is where I'll share my Hero of Time reimagining. I couldn't figure out how to create pages on my main Tumblr blog @fenartoftheserotonin so creating a new blog seemed more easy.

This blog is dedicated to my Time and Shadow fanfic because I have concepts and drawings that tie into the universe of the fic. I also have a lore document but it is yet to be fully completed because I am creating the Twilight Princess sequel (so far it'll be the same as the game storywise but with an addition of 2 new regions; one of which is for TP!Link's backstory.) I will be sharing some lore as well as notes from Sheik once I get to that point in the fanfic process. But until then, I may share some art for the three main cast of the fanfic.

History Lore things

I will say that the potential holes that would probably in the lore of this while trying to preserve the lore that was shared in the Hero of Time movie, would be intentional because tbh Zelda lore does have some holes in it. So it would not be too bad. ^^'

BTW I will be sharing the lore and with the addition of TOTK's lore that I decided to incorporate, the initial lore that will be prevalent in Time and Shadow will be in the Hylian's view. The Zonai have intentionally wrote themselves out of history.

Surprise! I had mentioned this Fierce Deity art a long while ago and decided to post it. I had actually drawn this a long long long time ago (I think January) and decided since the third TotK to edit it.

Oh and if you notice in the height chart thingy, there is a notable name there. He is supposed to be in that potential third installment.

Dark (who appears in the poster for the Time and Shadow fic) confoosed Fierce Deity when he said "Welcome to the club." This refers to how Dark and him look almost like Link.

EDIT: OH! I am closer to finishing chap 2! Expect it soon!!

Aight. Having played TOTK since the 13th, there is somethings that i either need to change or add to Fierce Deity. Most likely add. Also i think i got a good grasp on what to do with the third installment :3

Also I think I am going to do a totk au. Maybe. Let's see how this goes.

Tears of the Kingdom is on the horizon and I, or one, am excited. I can't wait to play it. If I don't update the Time and Shadow fanfic i.e chapter 2, you can guess what is keeping me busy. Other than college that is.

Zelda time!!!!

She does have three color variations for her dress and she indeed does use all of them in the fic. The first one is when Link first meets her. The second is her favorite/normal outfit. The third one is used more towards the climax of the fic, referencing to Nayru bc of the Triforce Wisdom (duh).

As a lil reference (and totally not something that is going to be used) to Skyward Sword, her earrings are said to be made from the same stone that was used to create the Ocarina of Time aka the Timeshift Stones.

I screenshoted the images from the main pic bc I had made all three characters in one pic and that is why it looks weird.

Sheik's design for the au!

There is a lil note where it says he has heterochromia. That may or may not be a lil hint to something that will come up in the fic. BTW Sheik is not Zelda. Just want to make it clear if you've not seen the fic tags.

Next up Zelda.

I have such a weird update schedule. I do as the serotonin guides.

The first one is his Kokiri outfit and the second is the tunic/hero outfit. BTW; the chainmail is given to him when he goes to Death Mountain to get to the Sage of Fire.

Lil update

Brain has decided to make me write more lore on the yet to be shared lore doc. I guess we are going for a trilogy as well as a maybe side story taking place in the future timeline.

Until Tears of the Kingdom releases and I played it enough, I'm not gonna work on the third installment (not like i have yet but am planning things).

I might even share a concept for a Zonai Fierce Deity that I had originally planned for a BOTW2/Tears of the Kingdom au but I think it'll work in the third installments' context also.

The Map of Hyrule and the neighboring provinces made via Inkarnate :>.

For the AU, I decided to change the layout of the map from Twilight Princess so it would make sense in terms of the map for Hyrule for the au. Instead of the Ordon Province being south of Hyrule, it is now east and Snowpeak is now north-northeast of Ordon.

I added two new areas but one is not really going to be explored in the sequel (Twilight Princess) but perhaps in a third installment; the Lycania Province and the Coastal Region.

the Lycania Province was created so that Twilight Princess Link has a backstory and a reason why he turns into a wolf. I was a bit inspired by the TP manga so this region was created for that purpose.

But for the Hero of Time au, it will focus on Hyrule then for the Twilight Princess Sequel (yes this is going to happen in the near future once Time and Shadow is completed) it will focus on the entire map.
