The Box

You’re only allowed to be good at one thing, right?  That’s the common misconception in today’s new age. You pick a career path, goes without saying. Many lose themselves depending solely on that path as their form of identity. Some choose to stray away and explore other endeavors, only to be looked down upon. They’re not comfortable with you leveling up and being talented in more ways than one. We were born into a box that was created for each one of us, whether we wanted it or not. They want us to achieve greatness and it can always be done, as long as it remains within the parameters of the box. People will oppress you the moment you decide to step out of the imaginary box the world puts you in. Truth is most will be envious of you. They envy your courageousness to do what you want with your life, which makes them belittle your new endeavors. You’re strong because you made this first step, but that’s only a first step. The road ahead only gets tougher. As you grow the enemies plotting against you will multiply. People that you expected to encourage your evolution will only serve to do the exact opposite.
