One time I was leaving a friend's place and an older lady with basically no English came up to me and communicated that she was very cold and needed a ride. She pointed to tell me where to go.

I got there and her daughter or granddaughter came out and was like omg her phone died we were worried

And then the older lady said something and the younger lady translated.

"She knew she could trust you because you have pink hair"

I thought it was funny at the time. But when I think back on it I think she was basically saying "you had a visible sign of not vibing with the system I was afraid of"

If you are a socially anxious person, you have to socialize. Your panic/anxiety attacks will only get worse and trigger more frequently if you constantly avoid contact with The Public. Not saying that you need to be a social butterfly- but there is a genuine problem with not being able to order your own meal at a restaurant. And it cannot be solved by always having someone else do it for you.

Vault 81: Somber

So I have mixed feelings about this. I loved FO4 - what little I played of it. I finally, finally got into it after some gentle pushing from a good friend and then the AE update dropped and my save got corrupted. My save that had basic mods and some niche ones that probably won't be updated. I did find that I enjoy the story, at it's core, but I'm also honestly upset that there wasn't an option to keep our current branch while they ironed out the AE bugs and I'm disappointed in how much the AE update is. But you didn't come here to hear me ramble! Please enjoy this still from one of my favorite vault stories.
