Having seen the film, I have to say that the Newtina story line is my favorite part in this regrettably flawed installment. Eddie and Katherine know the characters inside out and their performance is just so beautiful to watch. Even though Newt and Tina never said “I love you” out loud, every subtle movement of their eyes and bodies was declaring that they were deeply and hopelessly in love with each other.

OMG I JUST NOTICED In this shot Jacob is in the background, looking around and his expression denotes confusion. At first I was like “Well, of course he is confused! It’s not everyday that you get to see the magnificent Castle of Hogwarts” Then I rewatched the trailer and I remembered: In the Goblet of fire Hermione explains why magical schools have such a secrecy about their locations. She tells Harry that Hogwarts has a magical protection surrounding it: An illusion that makes muggles see some devastated scary ruins to keep them away.

So while the wizards are in the front ready to storm in and accomplish whatever mission they have at Hogwarts, Jacob is in the back like “u guys the fuck r we doing here this place scary smh”
