she tries to sing you to sleep if you ask, but she can get carried away with it lol, her voice is just too powerful for lullabies
dress up can go one of two ways: if you’re a human who sees ghosts, alberta picks out outfits for you to change into. if you’re also a ghost, the two of you pick out outfits for sam to wear. like a living barbie haha
she loves coming up with pet names for you!! the one she uses most often is honeybunch <3
Flower
loves to play games with you!! hide and seek is risky tho, cos if she’s hiding she’ll often forget why she’s hiding and wander off, and if she’s seeking she’ll often forget what she’s looking for and you’ll be hiding forever
if you’re also a ghost, she loves cuddles!! but only for a little bit, after a while she gets overwhelmed by the touch. but once she forgets about being overwhelmed, she’s down for cuddles again!!
if you’re a human who sees ghosts, she loves watching you color!! you know she wants to color too, so you let her pick out which crayons you use for the pictures in the coloring book !!
Hetty
the doting mother, always making sure you stay safe (even if you’re a ghost and can’t really get hurt). some call her overprotective, but she calls it “maternal instincts”
she’s always insisting that sam give you gifts on her behalf. hetty says “sam can you order y/n a lead rattle? this is very important” and sam says “i don’t think they sell those anymore. even if they did, no”
she can be a little stern, telling you to fix your posture and not talk with your mouth full and things of that nature, but it’s because she cares <3
Isaac
will tell you everything he knows about the american revolution, government, and/or dinosaurs if you ask. sometimes he forgets that you’re regressed and gets a little carried away with it, but you just like the sound of his voice <3
loves to read you bedtime stories, but he needs help from sam with flipping the pages. if she’s not available, he’ll recite the magna carta to you
is a regressor as well, and if you’re both regressed, your mutual caregiver is hetty
Pete
will do basically anything just to make you laugh and smile. he’s got a whole bunch of jokes just waiting to be told
loves to pretend camp with you in the living room, telling ghost scary stories and pretending to roast marshmallows (“anything is possible with the power of imagination!”)
if you’re a human who can see ghosts, he gushes over all your arts and crafts!! he always points out his favorite part, saying whatever you made belongs in an art museum

bedtime story extraordinaire!! somehow his stories are perfectly tailored to get you to sleep in minutes, no matter how invested you may be in the plot
he may have a tendency to be all cool and confident, but with you he’s a tad more vulnerable. he’s got a real soft spot for you
if you’re a human who can see ghosts, you and sas hang out in your dreams to make up for not being able to leave the property. you can do anything in a dream!!!

if you’re also a ghost, he loves to pick you up and spin you around. depending on your height, he may even give you piggyback rides!! also he gives the best hugs ever
he will sing you his classic lullaby, and it’s surprisingly effective, even with the mildly gory lyrics
he’ll play basically any game with you so long as it’s possible (ghost & ghost and also ghost & human dynamics create their own unique limitations). even if it’s not technically possible he’ll do anything to make it happen cos he’d go to the ends of the earth for you

he very much goes dad mode, similar to the episode where he thought he had a daughter (the one before the episode in which. it was confirmed he had a daughter lmao)
loves watching the cutting edge with you, but only puts it on if you wanna watch it. he’s not gonna force it on you
if you’re having a rough time, he will do anything he can to comfort you. he’ll fight someone if necessary, just say the word, give him a name, they’ll be sorry

Will not leave your side while you're little. Will not. He is with you constantly. There is no escape.
Yes that means he brings you with when he's out doing crime. Don't worry, you have your own mask that keeps you safe from the fear gas.
You don't have to worry about the cops either. He'd rather turn himself in and let you get babysat by one of the other rogues until he breaks out again than ever let you step foot in Arkham.
Despite his whole thing about fear, he hates seeing you scared. He's suffered childhood trauma himself, he's not letting you hurt like he did. Especially if you're a trauma regressor, he's keeping you so very safe and happy.
Can probably tell when you're regressing before you can. He is a psychologist, after all.
As for who babysits you when he's in Arkham, it's usually Riddler, or he leaves you with Harley. Littles love Harley, this is known.
He prefers older toys to modern plastic counterparts and neon plushies. He'll usually buy you things from thrift and antique stores. If anything needs repairs or repainting, he'll do it himself.
He has a fondness for legos, though, so you get those.
He also usually dresses you in older style clothing, again mostly from antique stores. He's got that victorian doctor aesthetic to hold up.
He makes you your own little Kid Scarecrow outfit to wear while you're with him during crime stuff.
However, he usually tries not to go out while you're little, since he won't leave you home alone but he doesn't want you getting frightened in the big city.
Yes, you're always safe with him, but he knows better than anyone that you can still feel scared even in the safest place on Earth.
I imagine in-universe there's a good amount of rogues merch, even if it's kind of an underground market, so he definitely gets you Scarecrow merch. Again, the bit. You gotta commit.
If there's not any, or nothing good enough for his standards, he'll make you some. You definitely have a little plushie of him to carry around and cuddle with, especially for when he's in Arkham. Probably has voice messages in it.
This man loves to read to you. Bedtime stories, novels, even just reading out loud from whatever scientific thing he's going through. He's got a very nice, calming voice that can make even things you absolutely don't understand a perfect bedtime story.
And if you have any questions or want to know more, he'll always find a way to explain it to you, even if it takes a while and a couple days of other lessons to get to the thing you were initially curious about. He was a professor, after all.
I feel like this man would like the arts? Idk. Arts and psych have always gone hand in hand to me. He's the type of guy to read you poetry and stuff.
He absolutely analyzes anything you write or draw and show to him, he finds it very fun, always gives you lots of praise for how wonderful you did with it.
He strikes me as liking to paint and he'll paint with you, though he probably keeps you away from whatever he's currently working on while you're little. He'll paint something new for you.
Batman villains agere classifications. Because there’s so many, I’m using the “animated series” lineup because it’s easier.
Joker: I cannot see him as a caregiver. Child regressor, he mostly pulls big pranks à la his silver age incarnation.
Harley: Regressor. Look me in my invisible eyes and tell me you can’t see the vision. She needs it. However, she has also filled in as a… “helper” when Ivy drops.
Penguin: …Caregiver, but not the soft kind, more like the one that’ll see you’re hurt and then ask who did it to send his goons out to teach a lesson.
Poison Ivy: See, the easy thing is to make her a carrier for Harley. But I am enlightened and brilliant. Blasting her with the flip beam. She can care for very specific people, but she also drops when she gets too overwhelmed. Sometimes cloth-padded if necessary but she doesn’t like showing it.
Catwoman: BTAS Selina gives me caregiver energy, I just feel like she’d be good at soothing Littles.
Mr Freeze: I think he could be a decent caregiver. Under really specific and strict circumstances, but he ca keep an eye on someone.
Clayface: Flip, depending on how stable he is mentally. If he’s mostly Basil and can keep his powers and shape together, he can be a good caregiver, doing little performances. But if he’s unstable, he can take smaller forms to reflect his age.
Two-Face: …God. It was so hard for me not to make him a flip in account of his coin shtick. Child regressor, trauma and stress related.
Killer Croc: Regressor. Little croc has never gotten a fair break.
Scarecrow: I would hesitate to trust this guy with a child, let alone a regressor on account of his whole deal about causing fear and terror and being in control. However. Regressor, likely toddler to kid range because I think he projects.
Ventriloquist: If you can keep him away from Scarface, he’s actually a pretty good cg. Hand him a friendly puppet and he can keep a kiddo entertained for hours.
Bane: Flip. He can be caregiver, big guy, big hugs if you’re worthy.
I actually abandoned this one a while ago cuz I was struggling with anatomy, but today I decided to just mess around out with it again and I actually like it!
