Ace is a trans man Pokemon trainer. He and his Pokemon partner, Ampharos have been together since they were a boy and a Mareep.
They share a close bond in and out of battle. During one tough battle, Ampharos mega evolves for the first time. All the new power was too much for Ampharos all at once. It looses control of itself and it's mind and attacks Ace out of confusion. Ace was taken by surprise, but knows Ampharos didn't mean it.
After Ampharos goes back to its normal form, it sees Ace holding his arm. There's a bite mark and some blood is coming out of it. Ampharos doesn't remember what happened, but realized it must of been the one to bite Ace because it can taste a bit of blood in its mouth.
Ampharos suddenly feels terrible about what it did to it's dear friend and is overcome with intense guilt. Ace tries to reassure Ampharos, but it runs away from him, afraid of accidently hurting him again.

Ninetails met it's human back when it was just a Vulpix. The two of them became very close friends. Ninetails watched as it's friend went from a boy to a man and he watched it go from a Vulpix to a Ninetails. They were never alone because they always had each other. But the man started to get older and one day the man was no more. Ninetails didn't understand at first, but eventually it realized that it's friend is now gone. Ninetails misses its human friend so much and is afraid of getting close to any other human to it won't have to feel this way ever again. Now, it prefers to be alone or with other Ninetails.
Fluttershy: Chasing butterflies. Nature walks. Holding your caregiver’s hand tightly. Too-long sweater sleeves. Cloud watching. Peach cobbler and watermelon sorbet.
Twilight Sparkle: Books, books, books. Trips to the library. “Look what I can read!” Magic spells on your stuffies. Playing school. Writing letters to your caregiver.
Applejack: Cottagecore. Apple picking in the fall. Overalls with ripped knees. Making mud pies. Dogs > cats. Helping your caregiver in the kitchen. Applesauce, apple pie, apple juice.
Rarity: Baby fashion designer. Playing dress-up. “Oh dear, this simply won’t do!” Tea parties with your stuffies. Rhinestones, sequins, and glitter on everything.
Rainbow Dash: “Wanna race?” Sour candy. Loudest laugh on the planet. Bossy kiddo. Competitive games 24/7. Never follows a bedtime.
Pinkie Pie: Constant sugar rush. Balloon animals. Trampolines. Planning a party for every occasion. “This is the best day of my entire life!” Expert cake decorator.
