Some random Classification AU things because I am mentally unwell. (personal Classification AU with Cg/Neutral/Little and pack/family dynamics. Completely, SFW don't make it weird.)
I believe the system would be TERRIBLE just like the actual foster system and CPS. Like you're telling me an adults with the mentality of children won't be abused just as much as actual kids? Laughable
fake ids are BOOMING market. Don't want to be seen as a leader at work just because of your Classification? FAKE Neutral ID. Want to be able to do anything on your own just bc your a little doesn't mean you're helpless? FAKE NEUTRAL ID
on that note, there is definitely an imbalance in society. Some people ARE permaregressors, but many littles only have to drop once a week on average, and socially, they're all treated like children. Some caregivers are more strict and some are more soft, but they're treated one in the same
sub-classification testing!!! Are you a Papa CG? A Mama? A big brother/sister? Doesn't matter your gender a guy can be a Mommy and a woman could be a Dada, it's more the role you offer in the family unit. Along with that- Baby (0-2) Toddler (3-5) Kid (6-12) and Teen (13-18) regressors, and each person has thier own age range but most fall within these categories?? Big Brother teen/kid regressors! Baby regressors that only have to drop about a day a week, Perma-teen regressors!!!
Like 60% of society is Neutral. An even 20/20 Cg/Regressor.
(I borrowed instincts and scent from all the Hybrid AUs, but I like how they fit.) Caregiver instincts when they hear crying! They need to protect the kid! Regressors instincts flaring up when someone is yelling/causing a scene, having to resist the urge to run away and hide because they are pretending to be Neutral. A little finds that one friend, in particular, always smells like safety. It turns out they're actually a cg also hiding their classification. Family units!! Littles that climb into thier cgs beds bc it smells like safety. Cgs that press kisses to thier littles heads, catching that soft baby smell, or just the scent of thier kid.
Caregiver Jason Todd who tells everyone he's a Neutral because he doesn't feel worthy of taking care of anyone (this one is @tiniradio's fault /aff) ^ he channels all his Caregiver instincts into crime alley itself, making it actually one of the best places to be even with the crime. Littles and kids are protected and shielded, any kids or littles doing crime to survive are offered safe housing away from the system. If you hurt littles/kids you deal with Red Hood and nobody wants that.
Caregiver Shiro struggling not to smother the rest of the team, struggling to not baby them and fuss over them. Allura letting him fuss over her mice so that he has an outlet for his instincts.
Simulteniously Pidge never actually geting tested and suddenly dropping one day after a mission, terrified and confused because his whole family is neutrals?
My Hero universe not letting littles be heros, and Aizawa refusing to tell anyone about his regressor students, but telling them his home is always open if they need a caregiver.
