It is irrefutable that life is full of challenges. Although we want to avoid them, challenges refine our capabilities and help us learn and grow and become more effective at life.
Rather than fight against reality, how about if we learn to prepare ourselves to handle our life challenges. We can do that best as we ground ourselves in principles of love, trust, and abundance so that you can grow in self-esteem, power, happiness, and good relationships.
As a working woman, an IT specialist in a reputed company, I face challenges daily, including managing my personal and professional life simultaneously. It is difficult to work until 7:00 pm each evening and then come home to a family. A question for me is how to overcome this challenges?
Be positive and stay calm is the first thing that you must follow while facing life challenges. It took me a long time to learn this, but when it became a part of me, it was like I was a god, and could dictate what happened to me.
Although it is true that we cannot choose what happens all the time, we can choose how we react to these events. One of the most important things we can learn is to pause rather than react and give ourselves time to make a decision about how to handle the various situations that come up.
Understand the Problem Clearly
Make sure that you understand the nature of the problem you are facing. If you don't clearly understand all of the dimensions of a problem, you can't solve it. So take some time to reflect upon a challenge before you decide how to respond. Stay calm as you look at your challenges. Allow your unconscious mind to reflect on what you’re facing and your conscious mind to begin generating various options before you decide on a solution.
Identify Your Resources and Strengths
After understanding the problem clearly, the next step is to identify your resources and strengths. Make a list of all the available resources. There are some life challenges that can be solved with money or other external resources while others can be solved with personal strength and skills. It depends on the type of life challenge. But by reflecting on your strengths and resources available to you, you will find a way forward.
