Total doxie moment.
"I just wish I could know something anything. Just a few words to know that I haven't screwed up so badly."
Remember it's just those few words of encouragement and reassurance to someone with Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria could mean so much to them.
Feeling so alone, reading back through old posts wondering if things will ever get to go back to the way they were.
Just wondering if I will ever get to find that connection everyone else does or if I'm just doomed to always be alone.
Suddenly struck with a need to explain to you how boat pronouns work (I work in the marine industry).
When you're talking about the design of the boat, you say "it".
When the boat is still being built, your say "it".
When the boat is nearing completion, you can say "it" or "she".
When the boat is floating in the water you probably say "she", unless there is still a lot of work to be done (e.g. no engine yet) then you say "it".
When the boat is officially launched and operating, you say "she". If you continue to say "it" at this point you are not incorrect but suspiciously untraditional. You are not playing the game.
If you are referring to a boat you don't really know anything about you may say "it" ("there's a big boat, it's coming this way"). But if you know its name, it's probably "she" ("there's the Waverley, she's on her way to Greenock").
If you are talking about boats in general, you say "it" ("when a boat is hit by a wave it heels over")
If you speak about a boat in complimentary terms, it's "she" ("she's a grand boat"). If you are being disparaging it may be it, but not necessarily ("it's as ugly as sin", "she's a grotty old tub").
If she has a boy's name, she's still she. "Boy James", "King Edward", "Sir David Attenborough"? The pronoun is she.
If it's a dumb barge (no engine), you say it. But if it's a rowing boat (no engine), you say she.
I hope this has cleared things up so that you may not be in danger of misgendering floating objects.
Hit "view post" and lost it
But there is also a difference between a ship and a boat
isn’t he glowing

Well jerk coworker just made me cry on my birthday today
This is the first birthday I've had that my grandma wasn't here for because she's dead...I don't need this
I just wish things would go back tonthe way they were
So mom and sister came up to work on grandma's house
Didn't even bother to call me or try to contact me to see what I was doing.
Proving once again that I'm going to probably die alone.

Sometimes I feel like I'm screaming into a void
I think it's the silence that gets me. The sheer silence of never knowing if or when things will go back to the way they were.
Just reading back over old posts and praying for at least a sign that some day they will.
I hope every writer who sees this writes LOADS the next few months. Like freetime opens up, no writers block, the ability to focus, etc etc you're able to write loads & make lots of progress <3
Passing along for all the writers out there!
I could sure as hell use some of this... 😭 And of course wishing all my fellow writers the same!
Waking up every day, going to work, going to sleep, all with the knowledge that I'm utterly alone.
Knowing that somehow I must have screwed up and that things may never go back to the way they were.
It doesn't help that I'm seeing all of the signs of past experiences once again.
