Nicole Beharie, the woman you are 🧡
My Favourite TV Characters.
CHARACTER: Abbie Mills
PLAYED BY: Nicole Beharie
SHOW: Sleepy Hollow (2013-2017)
Lieutenant Abbie Mills of the Sleepy Hollow Sheriff's Department is the Second Witness to the Apocalypse along with the First Witness Ichabod Crane making up The Two Witnesses. She is a dedicated law enforcement officer (who later joins the FBI) who brings two worlds together, the modern and the supernatural. She is intelligent, skeptical, tough, pragmatic, dedicated, brave, loyal and also charming and funny. She has a very complicated relationship with her sister, all due to what happened to them as children. Abbie is a character I wasn't sure about at first, but after a few episodes I knew I liked her.

Daredevil by Rich Hennemann
You’ve heard his saxophone. You probably never knew his name.
If you’ve ever watched The Pink Panther, you’ve heard one of the most recognizable saxophone melodies ever recorded.
That unforgettable solo wasn’t played by Henry Mancini.
It was played by Plas Johnson.
A legendary Hollywood session musician, Johnson spent decades recording with artists like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee. Millions of people heard his playing, even if they never knew who was behind the sound.
When it came time to record The Pink Panther Theme, Mancini already had Plas Johnson’s unmistakable tenor saxophone in mind. Johnson later recalled they only needed a couple of takes, and when they finished, the orchestra applauded.
Plas Johnson has passed away at the age of 94.
His name may not have become a household one.
But his sound became immortal.
Rest in peace, Plas Johnson. 🎷
