okay so it was just a beta of Homestuck but that was confusing. Also John actually has arms in the beta, why did they get removed? What did he do to deserve his arms not existing?

okay so the captchalogue is just a really weird inventory system and it seems to function similarly to a program, is john in a videogame? Or does this world just function with videogame logic? John seems partial aware of this videogame esque state of being and he doesn't seem to disturbed by it. But doesn't he also enter a videogame later in the comic?

kay so initial thoughts:

1) style is interesting, has kinda that XD random energy that was popular on the internet for a while, I'm assuming that this was written in that time period

2) does John just not have arms? will he ever get real arms? I understand why he's not good at computer programming if he does not have arms

3) I already don't understand what's happening and I'm only a few pages in, but it looks like John doesn't know either so it's probably fine
