English autumnal folk at its most beautiful.
Embrace the Melancholic disposition of Lewis (not Inspector Morse’s sidekick but this largely unknown American 80’ artist)
Reissue of 1983 album out this week… x
Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce Sean Nicholas Savage. Wow, where has this guy been all my life. The Canadian songster has such a rich back catalogue and I've not heard a bad song yet that he's penned, in fact 'every songs a winner baby' that's the truth! Lovely dusty lo-fi sounds with Savages neo-soulful tones, perfect for those lazy hazy sunny days in Dudley...or wherever you may be. New album 'Bermuda Waterfall' out this week and it's sounding absolutely beautiful. The title track, which unfortunately isn't named after the ride in Rhyl sun centre, is a stunner. I've chosen this beautiful number from last years album 'Other life' to get you hooked, so get out your deck chairs, grab yourself a Fab and as The Fonze says 'Be cool' x
It's not the destination that matters. It's the change of scene.

Last one of the evening, but its a pleasure to be back.
Contender for album of the month from this very talented young troubadour Douglas Dare (Loving the name...)
New album 'Whelm' out now http://www.erasedtapes.com/store/index/ERATP057
Beautiful lamenting piano & vocals with some subtle 'James Blakeisms' thrown in for equal measure & a nicely shot video to boot.

Beautifully crafted British music at its finest from this Birmingham (via Manchester) band.
With a new album due out in the summer these guys are ready to make some waves and I'm tipping them to be the next big thing come the fall (In my best US hipster voice)...
To give you a taste of what's to come, here's a track from their understated debut album 'Rathea'.
'This machine kills the enemy' x
Welcome back, we've had a bit of a facelift as you can tell but its good to be back. We are looking forward to bringing you lots of new and exciting stuff over the coming weeks. So keep your eyes & ears at the ready.
If we are going to restart anywhere its got to be here. Check out the brilliant futureislands & their enigmatic front man Sam T Herring, who have been plugging away on the scene since the mid noughties. This was the moment they imploded into the daily consciousness, and boy what a moment it was.
Their new album 'Singles' is a tour de electro-pop force. If you only see one band this year then I highly recommend you check them out over the summer or when their back in the U.K. in Autumn (They truly are electric)
Enjoy x

We've had a face lift & a new name. 'These New Things' celebrates an eclectic mix of new & recent sounds & visions, with a healthy smattering of yesteryears to remind us where we've come from & help us shape our tomorrow's x
Best get on with the day then or...Shoegaze the day away with some classic Pale Saints.
Sunday morning beautiful Scottish pop-lushness. Play it loud.
A lovely bit of 90's autumnal melancholic indie pop, thanks to former Field Mice Harvey Williams, catalyst of the brilliant Sarah Records label.
Sunday morning, autumn. Slow world, slow.

The video is as mad as a box of frogs, but the track is a slice of post electronic glam pop from Planningtorock the alter ego of English born Janine Rostron, taken from last years immense 'W'.
Denver's husband and wife duo Tennis and a track from this years 'young and old' album.
Superb stuff from Swedens IAMAMIWHOAMI fronted by the enigmatic Jonna Lee.
