Glacier Day!

Yesterday we drove 5 hours towards the active volcano to see the glacier lagoon, it was amazing and so BLUE! Then we left, turns out for a stretch of 6 or 7 hours it's a complete land of a vast expanse of rocks and then all a sudden grass and then sand and so forth, so much SPACE! Here's pics of our big long trip! Last night we made it all the way back to the west coast. Today we've been driving through the Golden Circle and a quick stop for lunch! The most AMAZING waterfalls!

DAY 2 IN ICELAND!

GOOD MORNING CANADA! We've had a busy, unpredictable, isolated few days of adventure! First things first, we rented a camper van. We were about 6 or 7 hours behind on our schedule due to complications with our bank cards and everything else that could have happened (but now thats out of the way!) We started driving south right away trying to get as close to Vik as we could, our half way point of what was going to be todays drive to some glaciers. On our way down we stopped at some BEAUTIFUL WATERFALLS we caught in the sunset lighting, it was one of the most beautiful things either of us have experienced. This place is seriously magical, like it exists only in story books and also Iceland... Anyway, here are some photos of our amazing waterfall adventure.

Volcano eruption warning aside (and maybe we'll witness!?) we're still flying to Iceland! Trip just got real!! 🗻🌋 #tntinthebigE #iceland

Rule number 1 of Iceland! Bring your own food or don't eat! We made our own trailmix today and stocked up on dried fruit, quinoa, chia, oatmeal and obviously Mr.Noodles and KD, for those longer days..

The day before the big day!
