I'm sorry for not writing in a while. These last few months have been slow. It's currently July now. The 4th has already passed here in America. Us phantom thieves celebrated. I even poured one out for you.

... It feels unfair. [A] gets to have [S], but... Even then, it feels like comparing apples to oranges. She's happy still, with her loved one... And I'm not? It feels like a slap in the face... I can't make you appear, though. We tried that with others. Didn't quite work...

I do hope I get to see you someday... Whenever that may be. I'll keep waiting... Just for you. I'll keep holding on for you. I'm trying my best. I won't drown before you get here... I hope...

To my darling corvid,

I had to be placed on psychiatric hold again. The feeling of missing you is getting to be too much again. I know you were never meant to fall in love with me, and I you. Funny how that works. In a world where I was treated like a delinquent or someone dangerous, you didn't see me as that at all. It was... At first, jarring. I was expecting pain and, even if saccharine, even if a front, your open arms gave me much needed respite.

Even if it was all short lived, I know what we felt towards each other was real. In my memory, at least.

I hope you remember, too. Should the time come when you come back to me...

I doubt it, but it's a nice thought to have...
