For requests: THEY ARE CLOSED (except for headcanons- I will happily take those whenever). Until then… (I prefer asks rather than DMs) I probably won’t write them in a reasonable amount of time. Don’t expect them to be done right away or within a week or two or even at all. I do things at my own pace. If you decide that I’m taking too long or whatever the reason is and you rather have someone else write the fic for you after sending it to me, please please please let me know that the request is being filled by someone else. Don’t apologize or worry about offending me because I won’t be offended that you went elsewhere to get it filled.

MP is always very well put together. It was ingrained into her DNA. Her grandmother was that diva. You could never catch her looking without makeup. In fact, she would sleep in it. Not because her husband told her to or demanded it, it was because she wanted to. She loved being put together. It gave her a big confidence boost. She practically ruled her household in high heels. She had the big bad mafia boss that was her husband on his knees for her.

MP is very much modern old money with her style. She likes to keep things modest and classy. But she’s like 24-25 (around season 2). She’s still got her youth unlike some people… (cough- Brendon). She stays up to date on trends. She’s not one to stick her nose up at them. She likes taking some inspo because she’s just a girl and it’s fun to experiment.

Jarren’s restraining order does come in handy in the offseason for award shows. Yes, she can totally solo these events— she’s done it before. But should she have to and deal with her ex and his nonsense? No! That’s why Jarren has the restraining order. It’s them peacefully sitting together. A weight is off her shoulders. And her ex is outside unable to get in because he can be arrested if he gets near Jarren.

Katelyn Tarver has an amazing cover of “I Don’t Fuck With You” by Big Sean. Presley!Reader does it in the same fashion. She would sing it backstage playing the guitar before shows. It was started back at a time where she needed to hear those words spoken.

She ended up getting convinced by the guys of the Red Sox to get up onstage at this bar they’ve gathered to. She’s a little tipsy. But she’s easily convinced. She just needed a guitar and the band was more than happy to let her borrow theirs. Nobody was expecting her to do such a song. But she had everybody singing along and she had a big smile on her face as she sang the words with her whole heart.

Jarren finally gets his restraining order against Presley’s ex. He’s become a borderline stalker. He’s been harassing him in DMs and comments. Even more publicly in interviews. As much as Jarren would’ve loved to just ignore this limp dick, he came to his place of work to harass him. But even though he’s been dealing with all of this, his main reason to get it was if he’s with Presley than that man can’t be within 500 feet of them. He’s protecting her with it. He’s tried telling her to get one but she doesn’t want the drama. She’s got too much going on.

Duran does run into the MLB Fox crew in Yankee Stadium in the tunnels. Big Papi recognized her. They’ve been good buddies since she was like 14. It does help that her brother is on the Red Sox. —What happens is she gets to briefly update Big Papi on her life— told him she won the NCAA World Series, won a golden glove, and some gold medals at the Olympics all in the same year. He couldn’t be prouder and the guys were all impressed. A-Rod ends up making a post posed up with her and the guys. She posts own version of the group photo which she cropped out A-Rod and Jeter.

F1!Reader gets first in Monaco. It was a big win for her especially getting into a nasty crash back in Canada. Luckily she only had to deal with some soreness and a few nightmares but she was able to get back in a car. Jarren would’ve loved her to take a step back for at least Monaco but he does know she’s got a competitive streak and if she’s cleared, she’s going and she’ll be coming out swinging (which she was).

When the Red Sox fired a good portion of their coaching staff, F1!Reader did inform Jarren that he could quit and be a full time WAG. She did add that she’d pay him. He thought about it genuinely— not the paying portion bc she doesn’t need to pay him. It was very tempting in the moment bc a) wouldn’t have to deal with the bullshit from the front office, b) be around his fiancé instead of long distance, c) travel around the world with her, d) time off in between race, and e) the dogs.

Duran!Reader runs up on her brother as he’s mid-interview on the track. She jumped right onto his back. He stepped forward just a smidge and the hands on his hips leave. He does gently pat her forearm as she still hangs onto him and continues his interview. The reporter does say “you barely moved.” Jarren tells him “she does this all the time. I’m lucky that she’s not choking me out.” “I would never,” she said. “You’re lying through your teeth! Oh wait, you’re missing them!”

The guys are all wearing Y/n Presley shirts for practice in New York. It might’ve been Jarren’s doing. Who knows. But were the guys mad about it? No, she represented them in Yankee stadium during her show. Might as well give her some love too.

When Crosby and Jarren finally kissed— it’s like “oh shit, why haven’t we’ve been doing this the whole time?!” It felt so right. Her lips on his. His lips on hers. The big yet shy smiles afterward. Then going back in for another kiss.

Crosby! reader definitely knows more Russian than Sid. When she was growing up, Geno would sometimes look after her, and he took this as an opportunity to teach her as much Russian as he could. She's not fluent in it, but she can hold simple conversations in it. Sometimes, the two would talk in Russian, and Sid would just sit there not knowing what's happening.

Fast forward to a few days before Sid met Jarren, Geno gave her a call. It was mostly to ask her how she's doing, if she's eating fine, how's work going. But the conversation took a turn when Geno asked her about Jarren. Now she's speaking in full Russian, and Jarren walked in slightly confused, mostly amused.

Ooo she definitely does know a bit of Russian. Geno originally was her first teacher than it became his son. His son would only talk to her in it even though they both know that he knew English. It happened when she’d babysit. He basically said “sink or swim, Crosby”. They still talk over the phone in Russian when he calls her (he calls her once every two weeks).

Jarren has so many epiphanies now that he knows who her dad is and who she grew up around. It all makes a bit more sense.

Sid gets a text from Jarren saying “I did it.” He sent back a “thank god” and went back to talking with Nate MacKinnon over in Nova Scotia. He couldn’t be more relieved. Jarren wasted no fucking time which means he’s serious about her and just need that push. Sid is also grateful that he’s not a piece of shit like some people his daughter thought she could save or make into a better person.

Upon getting to New York and getting to their hotel rooms, Jarren had Sidney’s words in his head about just taking her out on a date. He’s doing it that night. When’s a better time? Maybe a day off. But if he doesn’t do it now, he’s scared he’ll get in his head and never do it again. Off he went to knock on her door.

I might’ve glanced ahead at the Red Sox schedule and the week after Sid’s and Crosby!Reader’s birthday, the Red Sox are in Pittsburgh. They celebrate it with a big dinner that week as she’ll be in town and is able to attend. Geno and Letang finally meet Jarren during that series. Geno probably posts a group photo of himself in between Sid and his goddaughter. Then there’s Jarren in there too. He’s smiling. Geno captions it “my favorite two Crosbys and Jarren.” The “and Jarren” is everybody’s favorite thing. Might even become a phrase Geno is constantly saying.

Everybody is calling Duran!Reader “The Toothless Wonder”. Jarren actually started it in another state. He was asked about her being in the championship and he said, “oh, yes, The Toothless Wonder” as she managed to get four teeth knocked out.
