Angie couldn’t wait meet up with Tobey. She’d missed him more than she thought she would and was looking forward to catching up with her friend again. Making sure she has everything she needed for the trip out she put Theo in his stroller, buckled him in then put a light blanket over him before seeing to the dogs. Once they were out of the house she headed to the restaurant where they were meeting and couldn’t help but smile when she saw her friend “hey trouble” she smiled when she reached him. BB and Minx sniffed at Gatsby, wagging their tails happily “Good girls” she praised as they were being gentle.

The puppy pulled back a little bit from the much larger dogs which made TObey smile a bit. Gatsby was so friendly with people but was shy around dogs. “It’s okay, bud. Say hi,” he said. He moved forward cautiously while Tobey went to go and say hello to the little baby in the stroller. “Can I hold him?” he wanted to know. Yes, Angelina knew him but he would never just handle someone’s baby without asking.

I think it will be – although I’d rather not have to do it alone. That’s nice that you get along with nearly everyone. I would like to think I do as well, but there are plenty of people out there I don’t mesh with and that’s completely okay. Yes, if you ever get a chance to go on one, I highly encourage it. I’ve enjoyed all of the ones I’ve been on over the years. That’s great to hear. A puppy? Wow, adopting pets seems to be a town favorite activity these days. Didn’t you have a cat before? 

Hey, that’s true-maybe not everyone will always like you but I do try to stay away from conflicts. I’d rather stay out of someone’s way. Yes! He’s a cute little bugger. Ugh-this is gonna make me sound like a horrible pet owner but Rob was looking after the cat when I left and they just really bonded together so he’s keeping him. It works better that way and pretty sure Spidey likes him more, but it’s pretty hard to tell. Hey, it’s good for the animals in the shelter!

Do you ever think how when you revisit a place, it’s fun to rediscover things or you just forget how good things are? Don’t get me wrong, I was only gone for like three weeks but the lattes taste like the best thing ever and just the general atmosphere is so-I dunno. Maybe it’s just because spring is here and that just always makes me happy.

Definitely. I think it also has to do with the fact that all of the ingredients are pretty fresh! I love it. Have you tried Misha’s tea shop? One of the best things ever.

Oh, I am definitely always going to the tea shop. Pretty sure that some of the employees know my name and my usual now. I think that’s the case with all the restaurants around here, the local and fresh ingredients. Have you ever gone down to the farmer’s market?

Moving is extremely exhausting and I keep forgetting that I’m not as young as I use to be. Getting old sucks arse! It’s lovely to meet you though, Darling. I’m Helena.

It is! It’s so funny-I normally wouldn’t consider any place that isn’t my hometown home, but I really do find Mount Meadow is feeling more like home the longer that I’m here. I say that you’re only as young as you feel! Whereabouts did you move into?

Tobey hooked his puppy’s leash onto his collar, excited to be meeting Angelina for lunch. She was one of his friends in town and had asked himto meet up right away. He decided to bring the pup with him as he thought he would like to meet her dogs too if she brought them. The dog eagerly led Tobey out the door and he laughed. “Am I walking you or are you walking me?” he demanded. Gatsby was actually pretty well-behaved on the leash, walking by Tobey’s side once he had got the burst of energy out. They sat down at the restaurant and the dog wound himself around Tobey’s leg as he reached down to put him. “Good boy,” he smiled as the dog’s tail eagerly wagged at the praise.

Making Banana Pancakes {Tobey x Rob}

Robert heard rather than felt his kitten beside him the next morning. He was happy Tobey had said yes to him keeping the cat. He smiled as he opened one eye to Spidey very intently “making biscuits” on the blanket. He smiled as he picked him up and placed him on his chest. The cat cuddled closer. He had provided Rob a lot of comfort the past few weeks. “C’mon-let’s go and see Tobey and tell him that we’re mad at him.” He put the cat to the side and yawned as he walked over to his closet. He wasn’t sure what to wear but decided to go with comfort. He doubted they were going to be going out anywhere.

Once he had gotten dressed and collected the cat, he made his way over to Tobey’s place. At least they were in the same complex. But, Rob was confused. Why hadn’t he at least asked if they could live together again? Had that been the reason Tobey needed to move away from Mount Meadow? He knew Tobey had said it wasn’t his fault but was that true? He absentmindedly scratched the cat’s head as he knocked on the door. When it opened, his heart picked up the pace a little bit. He chuckled as Tobey’s puppy jumped on him. “You must be Gatsby,” he smirked as he ruffled the dog’s fur. Spidey was unsure of this new friend and simply curled back against Rob’s chest. Rob looked up at Tobey, at the blue eyes that held…something. It wasn’t sorrow but it looked to be something like pain. And suddenly, Robert was no longer mad at him. “Tobey…” he murmured, reaching toward him.

Tobey chuckled softly as he saw the animals interacting a little bit together. He watched as Robert put down the cat. He shied away from the dog but didn’t hiss. He followed his puppy into the apartment which was cute,”. Tobey tore his eyes away from the animals and then looked back up at the man in front of him. He didn’t say anything because he didn’t have to. Instead, he stepped forward into Robert’s arms and sighed as the strong arms wrapped around his waist and he felt so damn safe then. “Robert…” he whispered as he wrapped his arms around his neck.

“I missed you so, so much, love. I am so sorry. Please forgive me,” he murmured. “I should have at the very least told you where I was going and that I way okay.” No matter what their relationship was going to be like at the moment, all he wanted to do was to make sure that Rob wasn’t mad at him. Maybe him going away would mean that they weren’t going to be together, but his friend being okay mean more to him than anything else at the moment.

I think that me coming back to town on a whim definitely calls for a Spidey-bros Gigino’s date! That was seriously all that I thought about on the ride coming up here. I need to bring my puppy to meet you too! He’s very excited-I can tell. Although it may be because he suspects pizza.

It is, and I love my family to bits but I don’t know if I’d move back home. My mom would be over almost all the time. I did! It was a lot of fun, I’ve never been on one and it was great.

I’d love to go on the next trip that’s coming up. Oh yeah, visiting home is amazing. I do love my mother but I also need my own time. The location must have been really beautiful but also nice to come back home. What was your favorite thing on the ship? I heard that there was a lot to do.

Oh they definitely do. It’s just always so disappointing when you go to get something you’ve talked up in your head and it’s not as good as you remember. I got way too many plants at the opening but it’s fine, I’m a plant parent now and I’m okay with it. I’ll have to check out White Rabbit once I’m back in town again, then. I’m a coffee addict so if it’s not good I might have to fight you. I am, yeah! Some of our friends had moved here so we thought why not. Oh, thanks for the offer but I’m going to be in and out of town for a bit so I think I’ll just show myself around with my husband.

I only got one plant but then I had to go back because my one plant seemed so lonely and I couldn’t be having that! I also really looked at the fish but just got a retriever pup who is still adjusting and exploring the apartment. Oh no, well we can’t be having that because, trust me, you would definitely win. I’ll have to up my weight training just in case the coffee isn’t up to your liking. No problem! It’s nice to move somewhere with your partner for sure and explore everything together.

There were bears you just didn’t see them. That’s not so hard to explain, but good for you for taking some time for yourself. The cruse was great, yeah! I had a wonderful time, make everlasting memories. Did you enjoy the opening? I went, sneezed a lot, gave Freddy a pat on the back and went home with a fish.

Okay, that’s fair enough! I’m glad that you had a good time and am definitely looking forward to going on the next trip. I did and I went back because clearly the one plant that I got was very lonely. Allergies? I just got a pup a bit ago so trying to adjust to him before I get any more pets, but a fish would be easy to take care of probably! I’m just trying to get fully settled before I make a zoo in my new apartment.

I think it has to be all. Spring, being away and missing it. But yeah, I totally get what you say. Pizza tastes different here than in others places I have tried and I don’t know why but whenever I’m not here even if I just moved I miss the Pizza.

I went to get pizza at Gigino’s like the first day that I moved here. I have to say that their vegan pepperoni is the best that I’ve had, like, ever. I don’t know what it is either! Maybe it’s like something in the water around here, but it’s amazing. New York pizza is pretty good too, though.

It’s a lovely place. I filmed in Vancouver for over a decade and Toronto is a great city so far. Niagara Falls isn’t too far of a drive from here actually – I might take the trip on a day off if I get really stir crazy. That’s great – she’s a good friend and you’re definitely in capable hands with her. You’re only a master meditator if you go on a 10-day silent meditation retreat though so be ready for that. I’m not really sure what you mean, but as long as you’re not being forced into a situation where you have to talk about it, I guess there’s no issue. How is settling back in going?

I’m jealous! That sounds like a really fun day trip. Oh, I definitely believe you on that. I mean, I get along with nearly everyone but she does seem really sweet. That doesn’t sound like such a bad idea-just kidding. I think I want to make my presence known a bit before I go on a vow of silence for ten days. Settling back in is going well! It’s nice to have my own space and everything. I did adopt a puppy so he has been very explorative in the new apartment but it’s super cute to watch.

I haven’t done Disney in such a long time but I would love to go back there soon. It just honestly seems like such a fun place, especially with all the new developments that were made. What’s your favorite part of Disney? Nice to meet you as well!
