internal cuddler

an internal cuddler is an alter who helps with touch starvation or fear of touch (either their own, another system member's, or both) via taking time to cuddle or give positive touch in some way to other alters internally. this can be considered a caretaker or internal self-helper role.

an outreacher is an alter who refuses to leave others behind. they reject the idea of "evil people" and believe in always giving opportunities to allow other system members (primarily persecutors and adjacent) to heal and get better. this does not mean they don't have an end to their patience. many (but not all) outreachers are gatekeepers or closely connected to a systems gatekeeper(s), and will take appropriate action (whatever that means to the outreacher) when their kindness and generosity has been taken advantage of, or their lines crossed. this role can be considered both a caretaker and protector role, along with (as previously stated) occasionally being a gatekeeper role.

firewatch

a firewatch is an alter who watches for innerworld/headspace conflicts or danger. this role is centered around keeping the inhabitants (particularly of large systems) in headspaces safe by intervening when necessary. they could have a secondary or even primary caretaker role to compliment this position. this can be considered a protector role.

My favorite shit about marble hornets is that not a single one of the proxies seem to actually be working with the operator. Everyone acts like they are but I see zero evidence to poiint towards a single proxy even SOMEWHAT LIKING the guy.

I just find it funny as fuck that none of them are working together AT ALL. Masky is fucking around being a vague but helpful menace while flirting with Jay offputting-entity-swag style, Hoodie's running his own paranormal prank channel, he and Masky are kidnapping fair maiden(s) for her own safety, Skully continues the legacy years later by pointing at the operator and telling said maiden "I think we gotta kill this guy, Jessica Locke," and being a vague but helpful menace about it all. Alex decided the only solution to eldritch mental illness was "kill everyone in this film and then myself." [SPOILERS ->] and finally Jay (before he died) ended up trying to kill both alex and tim and the only reason he couldnt attempt to murder hoodie was because alex already did the poor guy in. Not a SINGLE ONE of the these motherfuckers is working towards the same end goal even a LITTLE except maybe to piss of slenderman in general.
