Approaching the cooking pot, she sniffed the air appreciatively, “Mm…really? It still smells delicious! Oh, I’m excited now!”
"Ah.. You think so?" His chest puffed out slightly on its own due to feeling quite proud. "I'm glad you are. Heh. I'm excited myself..."
Tobi the...teacher?
There was Fudou, walking through the hallways and looking at the classrooms, trying to get a feel for his new school. It was easy enough. After all, nothing was going on yet. He had no idea when classes started, or what he would be learning, but he didn’t particularly care. He’d come here for soccer, and so he would play soccer. He couldn’t imagine any of the classes that would be offered would be anything different.
As the boy turned the corner, he noticed some activity coming from one of the rooms. ’That’s strange…’ He came to a stop in front of the lit up room, the smell of food wafting deliciously out of it. Fudou wandered into the room, spotting a man who seemed to be the cause of the wonderful smell.
There's nothing quite like the privileged feeling of having an entire kitchen filled with anything a man could possible desire. This school had a lot of money and Tobitaka was certainly not the type of man to question where it come from. He would just continue to happily reap the benefits of having a full kitchen in his designated classroom. He almost felt silly, spending most of his time in the classroom cooking, working on new recipes that he could never have afforded back home.
Since he did most of his cooking in his classroom, he should have suspected that more and more students would be brought in by the delicious smell his wok was producing. He heard a student enter, and readied a typical nice teacher speech ("class hasn't started yet but would you like some?"). Unfortunately, all words died on his lips when he came face to face with a young Fudou Akio.
Well, not every word. The first sentence that popped into his head, as bland as it may be, he couldn't help but voice aloud. ".... I knew it."

"Oh! I’m Nanobana Kinako!" Her smile got bigger when she found she was in the right class, "That smells really good!"
He couldn't stop a smile forming, he was always happy when people appreciated his cooking. "Oh, this? 'S just some standard ramen..." He motioned her to come a bit closer. "You'll learn how t' make it during the course."

"Hello! Is this the cooking class?" Kinako opened the door, her bag almost falling off one shoulder, her schedule in the other hand, "Am I late?"
Said teacher was stirring around a large pot of noodles in boredom when the young lady walked into his classroom. Tobitaka turned around and smiled, trying not to be too relieved by there being someone actually in his class. He grunted an affirmation, that was then followed by a small silence. "You're a little early, however, miss...??"
He could have checked his class list for her name, but since she was here right now, he might as well get the name the old fashioned way.

The tone Tobitaka used was rather strange - did the other male try to mock Fudou back with this? The chairman wasn’t even sure if he should laugh about the lame mock or simply stare at Tobitaka perplexed.
It turned out he did the latter, merely brushing some hairstrands behind his ear. The job has been a lot more busy than he would’ve thought, but Fudou loved his position as vice-principal and chairman, it was so nicely … powerful. Of course Fudou matured a lot since the time in Inazuma Japan together with Tobitaka and the others, but the brunette was still somewhat power-hungry.
"You’re saying that as if it’s a bad thing." he finally broke the silence and grinned at the teacher. "And? Liking this place? Already figured out the quirks here?" By quirks, Fudou did mean the fact that for example a younger version of himself was walking through this school.
Tobitaka laughed a bit. Same old Fudou. Tobitaka had changed a lot. Putting his gangster days far behind him, he had taken up a proper cooking course in his youth. When he finally became an adult, he vowed to do what ever he could for troubled youth, or... anyone really. Tobitaka wanted to help.
"I'm just saying you're old." Then he shrugged, he was enjoying his time here, if not a little confused. "... Quirks?" He wondered if Fudou was talking about being a teacher and having many minds looking up to you. Or the discount food. Tobitaka was pretty sure it would take more than things like that to get Fudou excited, though.
However, Fudou being the vice-principle would know more about SSI than Tobitaka would. The teacher had to admit, having friends in high places was always helpful. He owed a lot to Hibiki for that exact reason.

"What’s so funny, Tobitaka-san?" the vice-principal of SSI asked as he walked up to the teacher of their Cooking-class. As always, Fudou was wearing one of his smug grins and placed both his hands in his jacket’s pockets when he stopped next to his old ‘friend’ and team-mate Tobitaka.
"Talking to yourself?" the brunette mocked. "You’re getting old."
"Ah?" Tobitaka half expected to see a younger Fudou in front of him, but he was more than happy to see somebody his age. "Fudou-san." Vice-Principle or not, it's hard to break what you're used to calling someone.
The chef contemplated just taking the insult, he was thinking the exact samething about himself. That wouldn't be any fun though. He smiled ans simply shrugged. "You're one to talk, vice-principle." Tobitaka doesn't have many fond memories of his days as a student, but he can recall most of the people in charge of the school being quite old.

And here we have Tobitaka wondering just what he's gotten himself into here. Teaching? Plus... he could have sworn he saw his old teammates wandering around. Which wouldn't be strange, if they were his age. Maybe he's just seeing things in his old age. (he could hear Hibiki scoffing at him 'You're 26, calm down')
The icing on the cake was; this was a school for soccer and here he was, teaching cooking. He laughed to himself, a bit louder than he'd meant to.
