When I was a kid, my mother was my hero. I was the “My Momma said kid.” Everything she said was gospel to me. Then we hit a rough patch when I was 16 and nothing she said mattered. That lasted for a while until God said, “Enough” and put us back together. It wasn’t long after that when God said, “It’s time,” and she was gone. Now some would think that I regret the path that our journey took, but I’m my mother’s child and we don’t do regret. I’m grateful for the 38 years that we walked this planet together and live each day trying to make her proud of the next 38. I’m ten in and pressing forward with all she gave me to guide me. #todaystruth #mytruth #onaskid #mommasgirl https://www.instagram.com/todaystruthbyrm/p/Bvz0dagAfl2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4cwgntuph2ch
