The other night, I got to provide musical ambiance for The Thesis Group’s artist showcase event “Portrait Memoirs” in the East Village, NYC. It was a great time! The event even got a nice write up by Punchland at http://www.punchland.com/?post_type=post&p=74298

In honor of Make Music Month, stock content site Pond5 held a video scoring competition. Composers from all over the world sent in some very impressive submission to the video montage Pond5 had released. Here was my submission.
Performed a song with KYOSi last night at Rockwood Music Hall that we’ve been co-writing. Very cool being able to share the stage with her.

This was a song I wrote with my good friend Peter Mann a few years ago for our Capt. Fingers project. Last week got to record it with vocalist Kate Brick and she sounds great on it.

Lastest album from road-trotting super-group is out! Written on the road with good buds Peter Mann, Josh Sommovilla, and Dan Sherer, and recorded all over the place, this album spans both genres and state lines.

Here’s a piece I recorded today. It was inspired by Harold Budd, who’s music I really enjoy. Perhaps Stars of the Lid as well. Spent a bit of time crafting the reverbs.
Did some recordings with my Wurlitzer electric piano tonight. Used a couple of mics and tried to go for a “sound”.
