Whisper It, Don't Spray It: FIFTY SHADES OF GREY (THE MOVIE ADAPTATION vs. NOVEL/AUDIO BOOK)
Okay, I didn't plan to critique this film, FSOG, however the more I read movie reviews on Tumblr, some… thought provoking whilst the rest… stem from blind sightedness. Those short and nothing sweet about them reviews got me riled up. I prefer to just "Let It Go" but my inner child wants to come out to play. I still don't know if my inner child is naughty or nice. Let's find out. I don't really care if you've only seen the movie and not read the book, or vice versa. That's your prerogative. For me, being read the trilogy plus heard the audio books, and now seen the first movie adaptation. I'll tell you how I felt leaving the cinema theater with my BFF. I felt numb, short changed, and realize I have a new method inhibiting my libido -- watch FSOG. The movie was so fast paced. I felt like if I blinked my eyes, I would lose one hundred pages of body language interpretations, suspended, lost in translation, within a minute of the silver screen. That being said, I recommend all three versions, if you're looking for some light and playful entertainment. DISLIKES: Alrighty, first and foremost, why hasn't anyone stress a vital characteristic imbalance between OTP -- Ana has the habit of biting her lower lip when she's nervous and/or aroused while Christian has the habit of running his hand(s) through his hair when he's frustrated, angry, or nervous. He does that a lot while dealing with Ana. Oh no-no-no, it was never about Christian pressing his lips into a hard line that was panty stripping popular; that never did anything for me. Those traits I find most memorable about our OTP here are so important and are pretty much like second nature in frequency plowing through three books if you did read them; I don't know why the movie version didn't act accordingly to focus on Christian Grey's key element as much as Anastasia Steele's lip biting. Did any of you catch Christian run his hand(s) through his soft and lovely hair in the movie? Even once? Oh, say like the first time in the coffee shop scene? One major attraction between OTP, is that of Ana's bottom lip whom Christian goes crazy after, is as major that of Christian's soft hair whom Ana loves to grab and tangle her hands in. If those flirty invites aren't built into each character from the get-go then this franchise is not truly honouring the spark of their romance. This movie is still called FSOG, right? It dawned on me how absurd this looks while Erika was producing this project and decide not to put her foot down on the matter. This realization saddens me how Hollywood overrules much fixated selling sex to their audience instead of making an honest movie adaptation. I had a hunch the emphasis would be about the placebo Sex and not truthfully about the soulful Romance even though most if not all interviews claim the movie more as a romance. The outcome of FSOG has thrown a galactic imbalance to the universe. Sadly true, to be honest. It gets pretty interesting when I read from alike minds. My other riffs of dislikes to the movie adaptation mimes from myheartsnsocal.tumblr.com so since the words are out there in the universe I'm not fond of repetition. LIKES: My most favorite scene is not the negotiation scene but the gliding or soaring moment. I'm all for "more". The music was perfectly placed, "One Last Night" by Vaults. I was extremely thrilled and giddy since all my feels flashback to exactly when I skydived in California, and saw similar breathtaking scenes while free falling. IMO, the best camera angles were made here. I didn't mind all the CGI used since it was wonderfully shot. I loved every second of it. This also was a Eureka moment for me catching a glitter of the sweet side to Christian Grey whom I learn to familiarize and love in the next two books. I have no doubt Jamie Dornan has what it takes to evoke this side to Christian for the last two installments in the movie adaptations. My second favorite scene is the helicopter moment. I loved every detail beautifying Charlie Tango, goodness, that was pretty amazing to see that scene manifest onto the silver screen. Another awesome track, "Love You Like I Do" by Ellie Goulding, in place of perfection. I can't but pin up a big grin watching Christian and Ana being young and playful for the duration of that ride. Such a beautiful scene with added surprises for fans. I was pleased and appreciate the surprise since I had lower expectations from the penned version. Last but not least scene I favor is the Red Room moment(s). This was my first time seeing a red room and/or BDSM room, in a matter of fact. The amount of detail and glamour invested in this room took my breath away. I was itching to touch every apparatus in the red room, if given the opportunity. I would totally pay a ticket and visit that set replica if given the chance. Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are so lucky to play in this red room. C'mon, show of hands who wants to visit the FSOG red room set replica? To end in short, I had a better high listening to the audio books than watching this movie adaptation, and well, of course my imagination runs wilder while reading the books just because the books were more informative than the motion picture so I try to keep this critique less passionate as possible which like men in general whom are less passionate prefer Wham, Bam, Thank You Ma'am this is the movie made for you. My movie rating: C- P.S. Got word of such hindered sequel abandonment(s). Maybe good, maybe bad. I say, put the rest of it on a shelf, let your interest yield, wait five years later and do a reboot to the trilogy movie adaptation, Erika, with the better screenplay and better everything else. P.S.S. Looking forward to next year's Academy Awards whether FSOG gets possible nominates for Best Original Soundtrack and/or Best Production Design. ;) Plus, bring Ellen back!
Muy caliente! Más favor, Paulina.

AMAZING.
Hilarious... honestly though, men have low tolerance for pain than women do. Body scrubs are not that painful... exaggerate much?
My favorite Bond, Daniel Craig. Can't wait! 11/2015
