Hello! Welcome to the blog. My name, evident by my blog header, is Katar. He/Him pls +ty. I tend to talk a lot about Call of Duty: Ghosts though this isn’t a Cod:G exclusive blog, it’s just my special interest. I write and I draw and I bitch and moan.

As I am an adult and the COD games are a more mature media it’s guaranteed that there will be (and have been) adult topics posted on my blog. I do in fact like dick and ass jokes. (I have the humor of a 14 year old boy.)

You know what I never really thought about? Elias deadass retired before ODIN. Not like the bit he was doing with Logan and Hesh where he pretends he's doing something else, supply and req, so he has an alibi in order to not reveal his real position as Captain of the Ghosts. But like genuinely retired.

Merrick had to have been Captain during that time. Which is just wild to think about bc like. Imagine his POV; Your boss dies. Your new boss then retires. You are boss. War breaks out and you are no longer boss, old boss is back. Both of them are back actually. Holy shit old old boss killed old boss, and you are AGAIN the boss. Jesus fucking Christ.

I also imagine Merrick was pretty chill with Elias coming back. Like he got the training wheels taken off and yk that was fine but then ODIN happens. War and full scale invasion attempts. He has never been so stressed. Thank God an adult, that being Elias, is there to help him out. I'd imagine if Elias didn't come back willingly Merrick would have called himself to tell Elias to move his ass because he's NOT dealing with this shit.

I really do think it would be amazeballs if Keegan and Hesh became super-duper close after the end of the game. Like they have some massive emotional bond because Keegan starts to understand Hesh in the way that Hesh understood Logan. Yk? Like without speaking, just looking at each other, they have entire conversations. They're so greatly at-ease around each other that it's tangible to other people. Even when Hesh shuts everyone else out Keegan's going to be (metaphorically) smashing a window to get in. Damn it all.

Logan should be editable to "Ghost of you" by MCR in a remake/2nd game btw.

Inspired by watching a clip of Spartacus being performed by Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugel corps being edited to the song btw. Shit hard.

Logan gets asked why he's okay following Hesh around all the time like "Yk you're in his shadow right?" and Logan has a range of answers from genuine to bullshit but his FAVORITE is always "Claymores."

Two ends of the spectrum; Hesh, who keeps calling Elias "Sir" "Captain" or even "Elias" and Logan who is very visibly revolted each time and uses "Dad" "Daddy" or "Father" with all the sickly sweetness of cough syrup

Big fan of the dumb idea that is Elias keeps pairing Logan and Keegan up because Logan is like a therapy animal and people just relax around him. He has some passive aura that puts people at genuine ease, so even if they don't talk about it, they still get some peace. Logan knows and he doesn't know why but he's cool with it. He'd prolly hang with Keegan himself if Elias didn't keep sending them on missions together.

And then yk Logan and Keegan smooch and stuff
