I miss being in love with a story.
I’m posting again!!
I miss writing and posting weird stuff. So I’m back! I’m accepting requests again.
First post in a while:

My other, more serious blog:

I’m sorry
I know I haven’t posted all my requests, even if I said I would. The thing is with my studies and exams and whatnot... I lost interest in Newt. I know this is sacrilege but I guess everyone grows up at some point. I came to realise that there are other important things to speak for, changes this world needs to see. Thus I recently began writing in a new blog, mainly targeting sexism. I hope you check it out. I apologise, over and over again, for my discrepancy and unkept promises. And I hope, with all my heart, that you find your Newt (because I sure know I have).

Sexist Laws That Still Exist
Cases where punishment for crimes are reduced
Rape: A rapist receives a lesser sentence if a. rapist marries the victim (in most cases forced), b. the victim gives consent but then withdraws and c.if the victim becomes pregnant. This is practiced in over a dozen countries including Pakistan and Jordan. In North Carolina a women cannot revoke consent for intercourse.
Kidnapping: The kidnapper escapes prosecution if he intends to marry the captive. This has been seen in countries such as Malta and throughout Middle East.
Murder: In countries like Jordan and Pakistan, if a husband murders his wife who was caught in an adulterous act (honor killing) he may receive a reduced sentence or avoid prosecution entirely.
Laws related to domestic environment
Marital rape: Legal in over ten countries, ranging from Singapore to Lesotho. Many cases also go unreported.
Abortion: A woman should be able to choose what to do with her body. Abortion is completely illegal, without regard to the woman’s physical health, in six countries. 50 countries allow it if puts the woman’s life at risk and 71 countries to preserve mental or physical health. Only 70 nations permit it on request, due to social or economic reasons.
Domestic violence: No defined legislation or existence of laws to protect woman from domestic abuse is seen in about 36 countries, like Russia, Tanzania and Afghanistan. Studies have shown that over 1 billion women do not have legal protection from domestic harassment.
Inheritance: Daughters in countries such as Bangladesh, Morocco and Tunisia receive less property from inheritance than their brothers. In Bangladesh a woman only obtains one-eighth of their father’s assets, while the brother gets half. If the girl has no male siblings, the property would be passed down to the next closest male cousin.
Superiority of spouse: Wives are legally obligated to obey their husbands in 19 countries. These comprise of mostly middle Eastern nations.
Custody of a child conceived from rape: A number of states in the US allow rapists to gain parental rights. Work is being put in to revoke this law, but no firm legislation has yet been set.
Travelling: Women aren’t allowed to leave their house without their husband’s permission in 17 countries. In the Middle East females require a male ‘guardian’ whose consent is required if the woman wants to travel.
Work issues
Occupation: Women aren’t allowed to work 456 jobs in Russia. 104 countries prevent women from doing specific jobs, because of so-called ‘health hazards’. These range from Bangladesh to Argentina and Europe. Women aren’t allowed to register a business in 4 nations.
Harassment: No laws preventing sexual harassment in 59 countries. These consist of Barbados and Jamaica. 68 countries lack workplace-specific regulations to prevent sexual harassment.
Option to work: A wife requires her husband’s permission to work in 18 nations. These include Bolivia, Chad, Iran, and Guinea.
Unequal pay: Recent studies have shown that women in the US earn $0.80 to $1 in comparison to their male colleagues. Though not a law, it is clear that regulation is not strict enough, unlike Iceland where it is illegal to pay a man more than a woman.
Night shifts: In 29 countries (Sri Lanka and the UAE are some examples), it is illegal for women to work at night. India restricts women from working between 7pm to 6am in factories.
Paternity leave: About half of the nations of the world do not allow paternity leave, much less paid paternity leave. Germany, the US and Russia are some of these countries. This restricts a man’s share of child caring in families.
Identity and restrictions
Dress code: In Sudan and North Korea, it is illegal for women to wear trousers. Countries throughout the Middle East ban females from showing bare skin. In Uganda, women are prevented from wearing outfits that reveal too much, such as miniskirts or sleeveless shirts. They are also not allowed to keep nails longer than 3cm. 13 nations have banned the burqa. A woman’s outfit should be a the woman’s choice, thus restricting coverage can also be termed as sexist. In California, a female requires permission to wear heels. About ten states in the US restrict the revealing of bare breasts.
Bank accounts: Many countries in the Middle East, such as Saudi Arabia, prohibit a woman from opening a bank account.
Nationality: A mother cannot pass on their nationality to their children in 25 countries. While being sexist, it also restricts a child’s welfare, educational and economic opportunities.
Alcohol: It is illegal for women to buy alcohol in Sri Lanka. The country’s health minister states it is to protect the country’s ‘cultural and moral values’. In Argentina females are prohibited from selling alcoholic beverages.
Trials: In countries throughout the Middle East, such as Iran and Saudi Arabia and even Pakistan, a women’s testimony is half as reliable as a man’s. This prevents females from getting a free trial and also allows many criminals to walk free.
First post. Please let me know if some of these laws have been updated.

For Us
Request: Tbs and reader on a romantic honeymoon please :)
I couldn’t think of a perfect place so I just made one up. Hope this is good enough.
You stared out the majestic window, tugging the thin sheet closer around your bare body.
The hotel truly had a beautiful view, the soft light of dawn kissing the vast sea, creating a vivid halo on the waters. It shone like diamonds cut up into millions of pieces and scattered into the ocean. You let out a spellbound breath.
“Gorgeous.”
You turned around at the voice, and saw Thomas sitting up on the bed. You hadn’t even noticed that he had woken up.
“Me or the view?” you asked playfully.
He ran a hand through his soft sandy hair, giving you a lopsided grin as he stood up and walked towards you. He slid his hands around your naked waist, his smooth lips trailing your neck lightly. “You.” He breathed. He fingered the threadlike sheet, pushing it down your shoulders, exposing more skin for his lips to conquer. You giggled flirtatiously, snaking your arms around his neck and pulling him towards you. Little butterflies erupted in your stomach as you kissed him. He moaned your name into your mouth as you pried open his and traced his tongue with yours.
A sudden ring interrupted you both.
Thomas caught hold of your hand. “Do you have to get that?”
You smiled softly and pecked his cheek. “It’s an alarm, actually.” You said, your lips tracing his jaw line. You abruptly pulled back. “We’re late.”
You went over to your wardrobe and started looking for appropriate attire for your next destination.
Thomas groaned. “Do we have to go?” You couldn’t help but smile a little as he whined, “just five minutes, it won’t matter if we’re late just a little.” He came over and placed a hand on your uncovered hip, making you gasp as his fingers teasingly drew circles on your skin. “I’ll be fast.” He said, his voice deep and husky. His lips brushed your ear. “Besides I need to get all of this extra... energy out of my system or else who knows how much extra underwear I’ll have to bring.”
You laughed, grinning as you both fell onto the bed.
**********
“I told you this would happen.” You scolded Thomas.
You and Thomas had ended up getting the worst seats in Javille, the ferry in which the both of you were travelling in, due to being late. At least you still had a good view of the river.
“It’s not that bad.” Noted Thomas, offering you a glass of wine. You looked at him sceptically but he just shrugged. “I would say I’m sorry but I’m not.”
You couldn’t help but smirk.
As you cruised down the river, you explained to Thomas how this city was established, about the three wars which took place on these waters. They were fighting for the land and the battle raged on for two decades. Hundreds of people were killed and the ship captains were permitted to throw soldiers of the losing side into the river, were the high torrents drowned them.
You noticed that Thomas was grinning at you.
“You know, people being chucked to their deaths is not really a happy thought.” You said.
He seemed to snap out of his daze. “Oh, uh that’s what you were talking about?” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking bashful. Then he smiled. “You just look adorable when you explain something your passionate about. You get the cutest wrinkle there.” He tapped his finger right between your eyebrows.
You laughed.
**********
Thomas guided you through the lengthy floors of the art gallery. You two looked around, him with a map in his and you in his other arm.
“The renaissance exhibit is at the right.” He muttered, frowning at the layout. “Or is it the left?”
“Wait, I’ll ask someone.” You said, heading towards a tall man staring at a painting.
“Excuse me.” You smiled at him. “I was hoping if you could point which way the renaissance art is, I’ve heard the pieces are quite spectacular.”
The man grinned at you, a bit too eagerly. “Travelling alone are ya lass?”
“Ummm I’m not exactly-”
“I could show ya around if ya like. Nice place this is. Calms me mind. Deelicious coffee too. We could grab a cup on the way out ya know if ya-”
You felt an arm loop around your waist. “Everything alright, love?”
The man looked from Thomas to you.
“Fine.” You muttered, shooting Thomas a grateful look.
“Me and my wife were just looking for the renaissance sector, if you don’t mind could you please indicate us which way that is?”
The man brusquely pointed to the right.
“Thank you.”
You snorted as you and Thomas headed that way.
Thomas gave you a curious look. “What?”
“Nothing.” You replied, smirking at him. You stood on your tippy toes and kissed his cheek. “Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For being my hero.”
He smiled. “Anytime.”
**********
Thomas and you had just finished dinner, and currently you were on the restaurant’s roof, gazing at the twinkling city lights, speckled throughout the landscape like colourful stars. The mist made the scene even more beautiful, cloaking the background. You shivered.
“Are you cold?” Thomas asked.
“I’m fi-”
You were cut off as he wrapped his jacket around your shoulders. Warm, protective, safe.
You raised your eyebrows. “You’re still doing that?”
Thomas looked genuinely confused. “Doing what?”
You twitched your hands, fumbling for words. “You know... like, like what you did right now, giving me your jacket when I looked cold. I thought guys only did that to get the girl. And I thought they stopped once they already, like permanently had her you know.”
Thomas looked surprised. “You think I’m going to stop comforting you just because we’re married? And that I only did that before to attract your attention?”
“That’s not what I meant...” even though it sort of was. You sighed. “It’s just... I’m always afraid of us breaking apart, for you to get bored of me or something... or for you to stop caring...”
Thomas looked horrified. You stared at the ground, feeling embarrassed after admitting your worst fear.
“Y/N.” He used two of his fingers to tilt your chin up to face him. “Look at me.” His soft voice made you fix your gaze on at his warm brown eyes.
“I promise,” he said, taking your hands, “that as long as I live, I will do whatever in my power, to make you feel loved, to make you feel like you deserve every luxury in the world. Because Y/N, you do. You’re so smart, so amazing, so beautiful, so kind and compassionate, I rather feel like I don’t deserve you. And I’m not going to do it because I have to; I’m going to do it because I want to. Because it’s what someone like you deserves. Because I love you.”
You felt tears pricking your eyes. Thomas pulled you closer, and you wrapped your arms around him.
He rested his chin on the top of your head. “I swear, Y/N,” he muttered, kissing your forehead, “I swear that I’ll love you, that we’ll be together, no matter what happens. Not even death can part us. Screw dying, we’ll be together, even in hell or heaven or whatever the world throws at us.”
You choked out a laugh through your tears. “You’re really stubborn aren’t you?”
He brought his lips to yours, and you tasted the salt and emotions, that were not only yours, but his too. “I am,” he whispered, “and I will be, for us.”

Maybe
Request: Hi! Can you please do an imagine where the reader first comes up in the maze and when Gally jumps into the box, she beats him up and Newt got sent down to convince her they aren't dangerous? It would be nice if you could include a part where he gives her a tour and they feel something towards each other, but they are both too scared to admit it, but I know you're busy so I wouldn't mind if it got excluded. Maybe things could get a little heated if that's okay with you.....
I know this is well overdue. I am so extremely sorry for being so late with my imagines. I know I asked for requests and disappeared just like that, but due to sudden unavoidable circumstances have I been inactive on Tumblr and only now started to write my long list of requested imagines. I promise I’ll get them done as soon as I can.
About this one... I kind of made Newt and the reader know each other before, because I couldn’t see such a quick connection without familiarity. I hope you don’t mind and that this imagine has lived up to your expectations. And again I apologize for the delay.
You blinked a few times, willing all of this to go away. Where were you? What were you doing here? Who were all these boys? Who were you?
You shook your head, denying everything. Why couldn’t you remember who you were?
Your thoughts were cut short as a boy jumped into the pit you were in. He was seventeen, maybe eighteen, with rough hands and a disgusting nose. You felt threatened.
“Hello?” he said, edging towards you. “I know you’re probably confused and sca-”
You lunged at him before he could finish. Your arms and legs were flailing wildly, and your fist made contact with his jaw. He let out a guttural scream but they were cut short as you kneed his thigh. He doubled over and you kicked him.
Again.
And again.
Suddenly arms were pulling you back, dragging you away. Several, actually. You thrashed and swung your limbs only to have more hands stopping you. The boy- Gally, as you heard someone call him- was lying on his side and groaning, blood dribbling from his mouth as people tended to him. You felt guilty for a second, but survival instincts and panic took over your gut. You screamed at tried to squirm your way out of these people’s grasps.
“It’s okay.” Someone said. The calmness of his voice made you falter and look up.
Two warm brown eyes stared deeply at you. “It’s alright. Everything’s okay.” The voice murmured, soothing you. A thumb gently rubbed your elbows, causing ripples of calm to pulse through your body. “You’re safe. No one’s going to hurt you.”
You felt clutching hands letting you go and only two still clasping your forearms.
You stilled and look fully at the boy holding you. He was tall, with soft sandy hair and thin orange lips, a tranquil and at the same time concerned look on his face. You felt yourself trust him almost immediately.
“You promise?” you whispered, hearing your voice for the first time.
“I promise.” He replied, squeezing your hand reassuringly.
**********
“This here is the homestead, and there we have the fields.” said Newt; the boy who calmed you that other day in the box. He was giving you a tour of the Glade, the place you landed in with no recalling of how you got here. Or before that for the matter.
“What’s that?” you asked, pointing at the vertical large gap in the seemingly walled up site.
Newt’s expression turned dark. “It’s an entrance.” He replied.
“To where?”
“The maze.”
You gave him a questioning look.
“All in good time.” He said, patting your shoulder. You felt butterflies churn in your stomach when he touched you. You fended them off. You just met him, right? But you couldn’t shake off the feeling that you knew him before, like... you had a connection. Each time you smiled at each other it was like electricity hummed in the air.
“Just don’t go in there unless you want to be torn apart and eaten by loud and unseen creatures.” He said, causing you to snap back from your thoughts.
You furrowed your eyebrows and he laughed, even though there was an edge to his tone.
“Moving on.”
He guided you through the fields explaining about the rules as much as he could. You weren’t really paying attention to his words. All you could think about was that cute accent in his voice, which sounded so familiar, the way he ran his hands through his fluffy, gorgeous hair, the way his arms contracted when he walked that tuned his biceps... until he stopped talking.
He smiled, and you blushed knowing that he knew that you were checking him out.
Sort of.
You suddenly found the grass very interesting. You poked at it with your foot, refusing to look up.
He laughed, causing you to frown. “What?”
“Nothing.” He replied. He met your gaze and smiled. “You’re cute when you blush.”
You reddened even further.
“This might sound strange, but I feel like...” he furrowed his eyebrows and sighed. “Forget it, it’s probably nothing.”
He continued showing you around the Glade, and all you could do was debate in your head about whether or not to tell him about the familiarity which you felt. After a while you decided not to, scared that he might think you were delusional. But you could almost swear he felt it too.
**********
It had almost been a week since you had come to the Glade. By now you had grown accustomed to it and its rules. But not your feelings towards Newt. The connection between you two only seemed to grow which wouldn’t have been a bad thing if he admitted that he felt something too. You could almost hear the hum of electricity when you were around him.
Like right now, for instance.
“Pass me that box, Y/N?” he said.
You were helping him arrange some supplies in the homestead. You hadn’t got an official job yet so you just helped around here and there.
“When’s more stuff coming up?” you asked, handing him the box.
“After about three weeks.” He replied.
Newt reached for a shelf but abruptly slipped. You instinctively reached for him, only to result in you tripping and bumping into him; which in turn caused him to fall and land on top of you.
You blinked, your head slightly throbbing from hitting the floor. Your gaze came into focus, and you realized that Newt’s body was pressed against yours, his face only centimetres away. You blushed.
“I’m so sorry.” He grunted, attempting to get up.
All you could do was redden at the proximity of your bodies, your heart beating faster. His arms were on both sides of your head, his cascading locks brushing your brow, the pressure of his body causing you to let out a small gasp.
Newt stopped struggling and gazed at you, then your lips. You found yourself staring at his too.
You moaned as his lips moved against yours. Your arms circled his neck, kissing him back, letting out all your feelings into that embrace. Heat coursed through your body, and the feeling of his arms tightening around you as you rolled on the floor caused you to deepen the kiss. His tongue traced yours and youmoaned. He suddenly pulled back and both of you gasped.
You traced your fingertips along the back of his neck.
“There’s something I have to tell you.” He said, cupping your cheek with one hand as you sat up. “Ever since I first saw you, I had this feeling that I knew you before, like you meant something to me.” His thumb ran gently across your jaw line. “I felt this connection, this protectiveness over you. I wanted to tell you, but I couldn’t bring myself to. I think... I think there was something between us before, before all this.”
You leaned into his touch and lightly pecked the tips of his fingers. “I felt the same way too. This familiar feeling came over me each time I saw you. I think you’re right.” You felt the corners of your mouth lift. “There was something between us before.”
Newt studied you intently. “What about now?”
You furrowed your eyebrows, pretending to think deeply. “What do you want us to be?”
“I don’t know...” he said playfully, leaning in. “A couple, maybe?”
You smirked. “Maybe.”
