What sucks the most is I still love you, and I miss you so much, but can you blame me? I fought so many and so much for your love, to the point where I was physically, mentally, and emotionally tired beyond belief. I didn’t feel wanted nor needed by you, but I fell all the same, and with no net to catch me and surely not you I became bruised, beaten, and bloody, ruining myself in order to be what I thought you wanted. I silenced my words and even my thoughts, I became something I didn't even recognize anymore. Yet in the end I wasn't enough and I couldn’t fight anymore because these hands and feet had no more strength left to try to win the battle and after the war I got to see you walk off with some other person. I should have seen you drifting, but I was to busy being afraid of losing you to someone that in the end I didn't think you would walk away yourself. Perhaps this is why when you came to me and said you “needed time to yourself” and “needed to be single” I let you go, cause I was tired of fighting a losing battle.
