Here you can see me using appropriate PPE to carry out the task of hanging motor chain into the roof of our warehouse. Whilst selecting safe equipment for working at height I was to ensure my work space was cornered off so there was no risk of people working under me whilst I was in the air.
In this post you can see me visually and physically inspecting chain from a liftket 1T double break motor hoist. Checking for twists in the chain as well as breaks and Any other damages.
Here you can see me inspecting a 2m continuos round sling, Checking there are no tear in the round sling whilst also ensuring the labels Is attached.
This is the electric pallet truck used in our warehouse. This is used for lifting things at a greater height that the manual pallet truck can not reach
It’s weight limit is - 1.1ton.
This is a manual pallet truck that I have been trained to use. It's weight capacity is 2.2tons and we use this to manoeuvre equipment around the wearhouse
Here is a manual chain block. A piece of lifting equipment I have been trained to use efficiently and safely. The chai blocks hold up to - 250kg of weight.

Here is a broken lamp from a sunstrip active. This fault was found whilst checking equipment back in that had been hired to a new company.
When the broken lamp was found I was to remove the broken glass clear it all out and replace the lamp with a new one.
by using the correct power source ( 16a - powercon) and a 24 channel DMX lighting desk I then tested the fixture to ensure it was In fully working order and could be put back into hire stock.
I then informed our hires manager via e-main about the situation and told him I had fixed the problem and the equipment was available for hire again.
