The Fresher's Aftermath:

You're in a new city, not knowing anyone, feeling home sick already and then suddenly this magical thing comes along, FRESHER'S WEEK, (If you're lucky it's Fresher's fortnight and if you are really lucky it's Fresher's month) Suddenly you are loving life, you have made best friends and worst enemies, you've embarrassed yourself far worse than you ever thought you could and you've suffered your worst hangovers of your life.

What's next?

Where does your life take you after that amazing start to uni life?

The answer to that is: It's up to you. No one is the boss of you except yourself. University life is a completely different world to anything you would have experienced before. If you have come straight to university from college or you have taken a year or two out and decided to go back, university is a new experience.

I could tell you the do's and don'ts about university but I won't for two reasons:

1) Where's the fun in that?

2) you won't listen to me anyways.

One of the best experiences of starting university is that when you look back in 5/10/20 years time you will not only remember the subject you are studying (hopefully) but the life lessons you learnt along the way.

So for anyone that is reading this and either just starting out or looking to go to university at some point in the future my words to you are: EMBRACE IT and enjoy the time of your life. For anyone reading this that is at university or has been, you know exactly what I am on about.

Bone Marrow Awareness

There is over 400,000 people on the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Donor register, Which sounds like a lot, but when you realise that the chance of finding a donor is 1 in 18 million and 400K is less than 1% of the country it's apparent that this isn't enough which is shown by the fact that less than 30% of people needing a transplant are unable to find a donor. The biggest problem is that people are simply unaware of how easy it is to join the register, All it takes in the UK is a simple saliva test (spitting in a tube) which you can do from the comfort of your own home, or the next time you are donating blood simple ask to join the register. If/when you are called up to donate (which could be tomorrow, a month, a year or never), The procedure is similar to dating blood. No operations and little to no pain. When you look at these statistics and how easy it is to join the register and donate its amazing that there aren't more registered. I am the founder of www.BoneMarrowAwareness.com an organisation to help build an understanding of how simple it is to join the register and potentially help save lives. I had a transplant in 2005 and after no matches being found in the UK and then Europe The search was opened up to the rest of the world where there was only one match. That's not to say there wasn't a compatible match in the UK, it just means that they weren't registered. It doesn't matter if you are the Richest person on earth or the poorest of the poor, you can still join the register and you never know that one day this could effect someone close to you. Raw 1000 review

Raw was OK IMO DX reunion was good, Nice to celebrate all the legends in the Slater match, Love APA (Although was JBL walking funny or was the just me?) BOD was unexpected but worked well for what is was. HHH and Lesnar wasa fairly good segment. I would have liked SCSA to simply come back stun Vince and leave. I would have loved Flair to return and be the Raw GM As soon as i herd Zigglers music, I automatically thought, The ending of this match is going to end with Ziggler cashing in. To the bits I have problems with. The reason I got into wrestling was because of the attitude era, I love SCSA and the Rock, they both deserve our respect for putting WWE where it is today. That being said, That era ended over 10 years ago. Both guys have left a long time ago. I don't want to see the Rock in a title match ever again, He doesn't need it, If your a WWE champion the likelihood is that you don't need putting over by the rock. Having him in the title picture is going to do nothing for the prestige of the title. The same goes for SCSA it's not needed. It's nice when Rock comes back or SCSA but The Rock returned to WM this year and him and Cena stole the show for the wrong reasons. Minus HHH/Taker all the hype was for that match that didn't really deliver IMO but mores to the point took away from the rest of the card. I am aware that the only reason he returns is to raise PPV buyrates, which from a business point of view is what your suppose to do. But my argument is what happens when he can't go any more, he can't wrestle he's too old? WWE will be fucked, because the whole time they are trying to milk more buy rates out of the WWEUniverse they should be building up stars in this down period so when its back in the way up people will be interested in the current rooster and they aren't relying on older wrestlers. The Punk heel turn is needed and awesome, But we had a summer of Punk last year, It's really not that creative to have the same story turned on its head. I will give it time and see how it pans out but right now im not looking forward to this angle. Cena should have lost clean. Show should have got involved after the match. This ending just leads to Punk vs Cena vs Show at Summerslam which I dont think im alone in saying no one wants to see. WWE need to be using the likes of Show and Cena to help build new talent not in the title picture. And the less that is said about the wedding the better. AJ as GM makes no sense, The wedding made no sense. DB getting in a feud with Sheen makes fuck all sense.
