You will always be too much of something for someone: too big, too loud, too soft, too edgy. If you round out your edges, you lose your edge. Apologize for mistakes. Apologize for unintentionally hurting someone â profusely. But donât apologize for being who you are.

If you see elements of garbage in you, like fear, despair, and hatred, donât panic. As a good organic gardener, a good practitioner, you can face this: âI recognize that there is garbage in me. I am going to transform this garbage into nourishing compost that can make love reappear.â

We need to look @ the history of the Oscars more closely. My mother was the first person who told me that she knew the original history of the Oscar. My mom said that this famous Mexican Director who she could only remember as âel indioâ, posed in the nude for the sculptor who created the Oscar Statue. I decided to google that today and yes, I found that Wikipedia confirmed my motherâs claim. Emilio FernĂĄndez was the original name of the model. âIn need of a model for his statue Gibbons was introduced by his then wife Dolores del RĂo to Emilio âEl Indioâ FernĂĄndez. Reluctant at first, Fernïżœndez was finally convinced to pose naked to create what today is known as the âOscarâ. â -Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscars So, yes, indeed, every time a celebrity says the words, Thank you to the Academy, he/she should also remember the contributions of this really amazing Mexican Directorâs body. If you know your Latin American Cinema, you might remember the film, MarĂa Candelaria (1943). Emilio âEl Indioâ Fernandez directed that film. Emilio FernĂĄndez Born March 26, 1904(1904-03-26) Hondo, Coahuila, Mexico Died August 6, 1986 (aged 82) Mexico City, Mexico His father was a Kickapoo native american but âaffectionatelyâ called âel indio.â
