Regarding this post: https://www.tumblr.com/tonicxxo100/770114843082653696/hello-everyone-we-just-have-a-question-about
For me personally, I feel like in the early stages of a split, I can kind of coax it into not actually becoming a solid identity. I dont know how to explain that process, but kind of think when a lava lamp almost forms another bubble but it just ends up sinking back down into 1 big lump. Maybe your friend was referring to something like this? And when they “let” it happen, they dont attempt to reign it back in? I’m also not really educated w/ this stuff lol this is just my personal experienced as a diagnosed osdd system
possibly!! im kinda thinking they probably just have a high split tolerance and that when they do split, its probably for really really needed situations where the brain has to—
how do you know if youre a poly/fragmented system?
hello everyone, we just have a question about something
we have a system friend, who we are close with
when we were hanging out, they said that sometimes they allow splits to happen, but they are a traumagenic system.
im aware splits can happen during high stress and everything and that it cannot be controlled. like u cannot say “lets make another alter”
are we just lacking behind in system terms and stuff?? (we are not a new discovered system, but recently we have decided that we’re gonna make sure we understand ourselves and each other, meaning that we are learning about DID again.)
everyone, is it wrong to call ur system headmates as “my alters” or “my headmates” ?
another question for fun, what do u call other headmates? :D
its kinda upseting that we’ll never feel comfortable enough to freelt talk abt our disoder, even to ppl that care ://
how it feels when ur dissociating/switching:
that moment where you can’t tell if you splitted or if its just an existing alter who came back from dormancy
Happy disability month from a disabled therian
yes ofc im normal
its not like im making a major google docs of my disorder so my partner can understand me?? pfft-
its not like im staying up at 3am doing it pfft-
we understand that having OSDDID doesn’t have to be a bad thing and all
however it really fucking sucks how nobody irl sees how ass this disorder is really.
(this is all from personal experience, and my personal opinion)
tw: implications of relapse, repetitive thoughts
it kinda sucks when you have to explain to a little that their fav caregiver (outside of body) isn’t with us anymore due to breakups-
im sorry little one :(
I know that being a system means you're rather different from other parts inside, but that doesn't mean you can't share the same traits or habits:
Some systems don't have distinctive handwritings that can be distinguished from one to another
Some systems don't have a jarring difference when it comes to using clothes or style of fashion
Some systems don't have a separate accent from one another, they all speak the same, and use similar words
Some systems don't have varying amounts of skills or proficiency, they all have it evenly the same throughout, not lesser nor better than others
Some systems don't have their specific disorder affecting just one alter, it affects everyone collectively too
Some systems don't have opposing opinions or ideas from each other, they all share similar life views and perception
Systems being different is true to an extent, but since multiple alters share one brain, it's common to find overlapping qualities among them as well.
What other kinds of traits do you all similarly have, or could be indistinguishable among systems? Join in and share them here!

/lh /j i leave sysblurn(or any sys community) and apparently we’re all punk 😭 (nahnah its a good think, fuck endos. DNI.)
plural culture is one of your alters crushing on one of your friends and you being completely baffled (they're your friend you don't see it)
