Anthony quirked a brow at her reaction but made no comment about it. “What are you painting?” He questioned, looking over her shoulder to see the art piece.

a proud smile at on her lips as she remembered the raging old woman walk away from her. “well, everyone knows to not mess with daddy’s little girl. so that’s probably why she didn’t push the subject. if she did, i would’ve ripped her a new one,” salem shrugged as if it was no big deal. lady tremaine was always rude to the girl growing up, but it was probably due to salem egging her on and being a bitch. “well, thank god you’re here now. away from her until she decides it’s time for her to come over. which i hope isn’t soon,” she rolled her eyes. 

“daddy’s little girl,” he repeated teasingly, shaking his head. everyone knew that lucifer was one of the few parents on the isle that actually cared about their children. “I don’t doubt that at all.” the male shrugged at the thought of his grandmother coming over from the isle. “if she does --- no one is going to give a damn about what she has to say anymore.” it was rare that he swore but his grandmother always brought out the worst in him.

her sea green hues looked the boy up and down and she raised brow. a small smirk danced upon her face and she crossed her arms. anthony tremaine, he could ruin all of her plans, their back and forth would be the end of her. that is if she didn’t have the upper hand. currently they were both on equal footing the move to auradon shaking things up. but harriet didn’t mind at least for the moment. tony was probably the only person who could get away with calling her a lady. most of the time she preferred captain if she was to be addressed. she rolled her eyes as she was probably the farthest thing from a lady. 

“its a surprise cause I was so sure that you’d be off wooin’ some princess or lady or somethin’, anythin’ but here.” she motioned back to the school. her tone cool. she really didn’t want to think about tony wooing other girls, not that he was her’s to begin with. she liked what they had(when it was destructive) and she wanted things to stay they way they were. it was childish, yes but it didn’t matter. “well are ye gonna stand their or are ye gonna help me pick up my things?”

arrogance. his greatest strength and weakness wrapped up in one neat little box. it was one of the few things that allowed him to play this game with a woman like harriet. the astounding confidence he held himself with, he aimed to back up every bit of it which softened his arrogance into something charming. however, anthony was not confident about what had actually attracted the pirate captain to him aside from his looks and faux charm.

“how can i expect to woo anybody if i don’t keep my mind sharp?” he countered. “if a man wants to procure an exceptional partner, he should be exceptional himself. why else would a woman like you give me the time of day?” the flirting was glaringly obvious but anthony could never help himself around the pirate. chuckling, he moved forward and crouched down to help her pick up her things. “pardon my bad manners for not helping you right away.”

she raised her eyebrows in surprise, “fine, thank you.“ she wasn’t quite sure who he was and she didn’t expect him to ask if she was okay. “how about you?“ it wasn’t much of a collision, but she figured she should ask in return to be polite. “i wasn’t paying attention so it’s my fault.“

a small smile appeared when his manners were returned. the tremaine was used to being met with a sneer or crude words if he ever bumped into someone, accident or not. “well, i can say running into someone as pretty as you isn’t entirely displeasing so please, don’t feel bad.”

Edmond had just finished up at the bakery, and normally he would have just gone home, but his father had given him a box of goodies to go give his siblings. He hit his sisters houses first and then he made his way to Tony’s. He hoped that maybe this would be a good excuse to come in and talk to him. He knocked on the door and smiled as he saw his brother. “H-hey Tony. D-dad wanted me to c-come give you this b-box of leftover b-bakery items from today. I-I can go put them in the f-fridge for you if you want or something.”

Anthony returned his smile, letting his sibling in with the box of treats. “That’s nice of father.” Not that he expected much less. Even on island of villains, their father had always remained a kind man. “Thank you for bringing them but I’ll put them away myself.” He appreciated his brother bringing them over but the younger had his own system of organization that he didn’t want to be broken. “Was it busy today?”

Mal was on the ground , she was drawing something for art class. She was about to be finished with it when she saw somebody coming towards “Step around the art project please. “ she was hoping they would listen to her . 

“Only those lacking class would not know to avoid stepping on an art piece.” The shock of purple hair was very familiar, he was surprised to see Mal drawing on something that wasn’t a brick wall.

beatrice understood slightly why he would want to be proper and perfect. it would make him a well fit for royalty one day. plus, it earned grandmothers approval. which may be why their grandmother wasn’t too found of beatrice. she wasn’t ‘royal’ enough. a smile tugged on her lips and she nodded. “it’s basically regular golf just mini and more fun, lot less boring,” she explained. “so, do you wanna go play? or are you afraid i’ll beat ya?”

anthony nodded along with her words, trying not to write the game off as something childish. her goading helped a bit. “if that was ever a fear i would not be deserving of the royal blood in our veins.” he smirked, shaking his head. “will we drive or is it close enough to walk?”

a smile made it’s way onto salem’s lips as she listened to tony speak. when she was a cat, he spoke so freely around her and she always loved listening to what he had to say as long as she was being pet. now that she was human, she just genuinely enjoyed any kind of human interaction. “i never understood why your grandmother had lessons all the time. i remember she tried to force my sister and i to join one time and i laughed in her face,” the girl replied with a shake of her head. “honestly, being over here is probably better for you, you get to be away from that old hag.”

anthony chucked at the memory. “i’m still convince that you are the only one who could accomplish that without incurring her wrath. if that woman has any sort of proper feelings, your father might be the only thing she has come close to loving.” the words were somber but the male tremaine could care less about what his grandmother felt for him. she was washed up and deserved nothing of the greatness he and his siblings would bring to their family name someday. “i learned all that i could from her by the time i was eight. i’ve been ready to get away from her ever since.”

tossing dirty blonde hair over her shoulder, the pirate captain sauntered, confidence evident in every step she took. auradon was okay. it wasn’t neverland but it wasn’t the isle. the isle was good for very few things and one of those things was at least keeping her on her toes. the isle was never dull, something was happening in every corner. the one good thing about auradon was the school. harriet had been one of the few people who regularly attended school on the isle. and if anyone ever made fun of it they were swiftly met with a sword to the throat. harriet had always believed a captain should be knowledgable, that they should be well educated in more ways then swordplay and navigation. and in auradon she was a sponge, soaking up all the information she could. she never knew what could useful. as she made her way of the halls and outside the captain smiled, slightly smug but she felt it was deserved. her phone buzz and that distracted her. as she reached to grab it harriet ran into someone, knocking her papers and books out of her hands. “oi, there, watcher goin’ mate.” harriet looked up and saw who she ran into. “well that’s a surprise.”

it often disgusted anthony how content his peers were with remaining uneducated in the most basics of academics. they wanted to learn how to take over a kingdom with brute force but they had none of the intellect to know what to do with that same kingdom afterwards. fortunately, auradon focused on much more productive classes although the goodness lessons were insulting. even the most foolish of villain sidekicks should be able to lie their way through that class.

walking out his last class of the day, anthony was ready to head home and continue his own personal studies. no shift today at the bakery meant he could catch up on his german. “i’m flattered to know that the pleasure of seeing me still comes as a surprise, m’lady.” running into harriet hook was a detour he rarely minded unless they were in an off again phase. princely and pirate seemed to make a poor combination but they were both too proud to admit it because doing so would mean taking the loss in their little game of cat and mouse. the two of them constantly switching roles.
