Went with my friend Katie to see Company of Thieves at the Newport - she's an enormous fan. We rushed the stage like a couple of high school kids right before the went on; sorry not sorry about that. Anyway, having only heard the singles, I was immediately won over. Her absolutely astounding voice really lent itself to the acoustic set. Also, when she started crying after the applause during the encore... I must admit. it was very cute. I got the impression CD 102.5 did a lot to promote the band early on - which warms my heart. All around good show. Thanks for the ticket, Katie. :)
