hihi so really tempted to make an oc dw character with orla from derry girls bc i love chaotic dumbasses but would also mean i’d need to make the icons which won’t be top notch quality but also orla is just pure chaotic energy

okay to elaborate on this i have thought of a huge backstory for this nightmare child and i am in love with this oc, i’m gonna make a cheeky side blog but would love if anyone is interested in plotting (ftr it probably wont be shipping as my character will be aromantic but platonic plots hmtfu)

the woman's eyes reminded her so much of him. it was the look that donna herself had owned for a brief moment of time. eyes that were filled with sadness and grief, yet also a hundred different thoughts buzzing around. donna missed it more than she would admit, but it was a price worth paying to have her memories back. “you know him don’t you... oh my god!” that would explain the staring, plus the lead she was following said the doctor would be around here, which there was mayhem happening, so of course he would. “you’re as good a liar as he is, what’s he told you about me then? is it bad? oh god he hasn’t been saying bad stuff about me has he! i’m going to break that little stick boy!” she caught her breath, giving the woman a small smile. “i’m glad he isn’t alone. i was always scared he would have a little spat and travel on his bill. he needs someone to keep him grounded does that man... jesus where is he?! i’m gonna give him the bloody shock of his life!”

“Basically we grew up together too but just because we have history, it doesn’t mean she can’t be a twat.”

why don't you use eve myles or michelle ryan???

Um okay, honestly until recently the diversity in Doctor Who was just sad (still not perfect but is improving), and as a writer I always make sure I have equal or more characters as poc, so I just chose people who I still think fit the style of Lady de Souza and Gwen Cooper but are more diverse.

If it’s a problem for you I’d love to talk more about it to explain my reasoning in detail! Also Antonia Thomas and Stephanie Beatriz are beautiful and are perfect for these characters I mean…

Past companions. That thought had never really registered with Yaz. Then she had never thought of herself as a companion, they were fam. “How do you know her? If you’re so close you must know who she is.” If she was going to die then she might find out why this man had been brought into their life. “And if you know her I just don’t understand why you would do this?”
