giving so much that there is no more.

love is not the killer,

but whatever beholds it.

and that is what kills us most.

like how i look at flowers.

with curiosity, bliss and gentleness.

you look at me

like how i touch the earth.

with care, sensitivity and passion.

you understand me

like you are a part of my soul.

except you are outward and free.

yet you speak to me

like i am another,

i went so many days without

words are like the wind,

moving place to place.

have you found yourself within

freedom should be free.

love should not torture.

use your creativity

Warrior

my eyes can be a threat.

to him they were not.

flailing arms, but only calmness was shown.

my head was hot.

“walk away” she said,

and i did.

but there he was,

still staring at me.

i am not to blame,

i am simply a woman.

we can only blame men

for being the demon.

i am a warrior

but i still cried.

you are a predator,

and i am unsafe.

Life Goes On. It Goes On.

you're hurt.

unbearable pain torturing your soul, short breaths in response to "are you okay?"

hearts overworked.

the beating only reminds you of what is no more.

time was wasted, but the memories stay.

i, too, once thought that my life had no meaning.

but what is life anyway?

existentialist, i am not — but i like to be curious.

no matter the pain,

life shall not slow down.

it goes on.

and so will you.

but as leaves fall to the ground, quicker than i can get over you,

dreaming of life after lost;

black and white was my vision.

i let you go but at what cost?

now sadness is my secret.

you are my favorite chapter,

but that part has ended

i look back and i wonder

was it really all for nothing?

how can everything be so perfect?

but i somehow made you feel so worthless.
