I recently caught up with freelance and I would like to say: SO THATS WHERE MARIAS BLUE TIPS CAME FROM

((Maria’s blue is actually to help hint at the fact that she’s actually a hero chao, despite her looks. So the blue was to help look more like a hero chao.

But that doesn’t mean fighter can’t/won’t help with that ;) ))

Shadow walks on all fours right? Why can i see him carry maria around like a cat does with it's kitten...?

he doesn’t walk around on all fours in THAT sense. XD It’s a cute image, but he’d worry about hurting her with his teeth.

He really more runs around on all fours when he’s sneaking/stalking or running faster. It’s not as much a constant/day-to-day thing.

Does shadow like to cuddle with his chao? Or anyone in general?

He’s VERY touch-starved. So he wants to cuddle, he just has no idea he wants to. He keeps pretty much everyone at a distance, and he doesn’t really have anyone to cuddle even if he knew he wanted to. Except Maria. She gets all the cuddles.

So... what DOES shadow eat? If he is mostly black arm does he eat more meat then normal? (Also, is it beastie or shadow for his name?)

He eats anything a normal person can/would eat, and more. His immune system and Black Arms DNA allow him to eat rotted or raw things if he wanted. He doesn’t do it because GUN has a cafeteria with decent food, but he COULD if he needed to.

Sometimes the military have places like barracks to let people sleep. Does shadow live in a barrack or a house/ apartment?

He sleeps in barraks, (almost) everything he owns is provied by GUN.

Beastie is cute! I feel bad that he’s only seen as a tool in GUN’s eyes. Has he ever tried to escape from GUN?

Many many many years ago. Around hundred at this point. He hasn’t tried again.

What games do shadow play with his chao?

Not many. He doesn’t have a lot of time. He does like to cart it around in his quills when he does laundry and such though.

Wait; a secret? G.U.N. doesn't allow people to have chao?

They wouldn’t let BEASTIE have one. Especially not keeping it in his room at work.

Does Shadow's chao get excited when he comes home from work?

Yes and no, she gets excited but she doesn’t show it. She’s a secret, so Shadow trained her to be very very quiet whether he’s around or not.

Silly questions how old is Shad in your au plus will he get any taller than he is right now and does he have any forms?

He’s over 100 years old, he’s still continually growing a tiny bit, super super slow. So this is as tall as he’s gonna get in the AU. As for forms, he doesn’t have any in canon. I’ve doodled some alternate forms for fun, but they’re not cannon.
