psa: sister lives in galveston. left before harvey struck but needs help!
hey guys! so i know i’m not really active here anymore but i need your help. as you all know, hurricane harvey touched down in texas. galveston in particular was hit pretty hard. my sister lives in Galveston but evacuated before it hit. however, she didn’t take much with her. still, we are so happy she’s safe but she needs cash. she hasn’t eaten since yesterday and we want to make sure she is eating and staying hydrated. after all, back in new york (where most of our family lives) she has a family who is worried about her, including myself. plus she has a two year old daughter, who luckily, is staying over with my fiance and me (she needed some time to herself and trusted me to look after her for a week.) we do have plans to fly down and pick her up and take her back to nyc with us (her home was hit pretty bad and no doubt is unable to live in) but we won’t be able to do so for a couple days. she does have a paypal account that you can send money to. we as a family have sent her as much money as we can, but she still needs more. we do have to conserve our money to pay for our own bills as well as to buy food for her daughter. UPDATE 2: I MADE THIS POST THREE DAYS AGO AND ONLY ONE PERSON HAS DONATED!!! MY SISTER HAS HAD TO RESORT TO ASKING RANDOM PEOPLE FOR MONEY, THAT’S HOW DESPERATE AND HUNGRY SHE IS. PLEASE.
