Update on Professional Directions in Life as an Artist

Hey all! I haven’t been on tumblr for more than a year now, and I have to say I am super surprised to find that I have reached 1,368 followers when I wasn’t looking! You all are amazing and I want to say that as an artist who is starting to put herself out there, I am grateful for your support!

If you are wondering why I have been missing for a while now, its because I am currently working towards my dream in becoming a visual development artist for film and animation! For that reason, I have started a new blog dedicated to my illustration and vis dev work:

I really appreciate how detailed your voltron outfit illustrations are! but one thing i'd recommend watching out for in the future is making sure you aren't lightening any of the characters complexions. i'm sure this wasn't your intent but everyone besides pidge and keith look a little paler than their canon designs

Hey anon! Thank you so much for the constructive criticism. I can see what you mean after stepping away and looking at the piece again with a fresh eye. I definitely agree with you. The different skin tones is a vital piece of information in the canon voltron character designs that i haven’t been paying enough attention too. I’ll definitely be going back into my photoshop files to work on it!

Aaaaaaaah Thank you so much anon! I’m glad that you like Lance’s sweater~To be honest,I had no specific reference for Lance’s outfit. Woohoo! I completed the casual outfits for all the members of Team Voltron!  EDITS: Skin tones have been reworked. Shiro now has a muscle shirt, which I think suits him much better. Lance and Keith’s proportions have also been fixed and cleaned up. (this is what happens when you don’t use reference at 5am kids! *sobs*)

Oh lance…

Its my first time doing a comic strip~ Holy Moly i did it in one sitting too. The more I look at it the more I realize where I should’ve placed certain things. Oh well, ill come back to it once i get some sleep (/=v=/) Edit: I have fixed a major issue I have finally noticed/realized with this post. It has now been fixed, for I pledge to do right by this fandom.
