Yay! My Big Announcement!
TOULOUSHKA has started philanthropic work to support the Naked Heart Foundation, whose cause is to provide children with a safe place to play, which is essential for well-being and development. It also helps children to develop alternatives to violence and despair, according to American psychiatrist Stuart Brown.

TOULOUSHKA is here!
My dear readers, I am excited to finally launch this blog/style project, which I have been contemplating, planning, and pondering for a while, and today is the day it gets off the ground! You may be wondering, Okay, okay, before we get to the meat of the matter, what in the *world* is TOULOUSHKA?!Â
TOULOUSHKA is a hybrid of two words that best describe the style I will be developing, curating, and sharing on this blog and its associated social media outlets (Instagram, Pinterest, and Lookbook.nu): "Toulouse" is a French painter and represents the chic, classic, minimalist aspect of my style. The ending "shka" is derived from the Russian language--this part of the name alludes to the mildly edgy, tough-luxe nature of my look. One day, I was wondering what to call this project, and a few permutations later, my mind came up with "touloushka" and here we are today!Â
