💰 Located in the heart of The Rocks, Sydney, Susannah Place is a terrace of four houses built by Irish immigrants in 1844. This 'cash grocer' on the corner of Susannah Place served local customers for over 90 years. Ok so the morning light in Sydney is crazy. Apologies if we're a little trigger happy with our posts but we can't help ourselves... One consistent feature across all @unlistedc projects are these antique barber chairs... Our founder, @pengloh has a penchant for collecting them (along with other designer chairs) and showcasing them throughout our hotels. Funny thing is, every time we see one it makes us feel at home. Silvereyes are very small omnivorous passerine birds of the south-west pacific. They also happen to have inspired the name of @silvereye_restaurant at @theoldclare... Here the former sous chef of Noma in Copenhagen - Chef Sam Miller - applies his northern European culinary approach (think: more pickling, fermenting, salting, curing and smoking than you can shake a stick at) to down under ingredients. 🇦🇺 As some of you may know, our new little sister hotel, @theoldclare in Sydney recently opened her doors to the public... Comprising of maxi-chic lodgings with vintage furnishings, three restaurants (more on those later) and a rooftop pool, we like to think @unlistedc's latest project makes for the perfect addition to Sydney's hotel scene. Now that she's finally open, we've decided to take the #TownHallDownUnder (cue didgeridoo noise) and give you guys a real insight into Sydney life! Over the next month, we'll be documenting our favourite restaurants, bars, beaches and of course, life at @theoldclare...
