zelink time. Zelda and Link are engaged and soon to marry, But Link doesnt want to be king and doesnt want to explain anyone (not even Zelda) why he is so adamant abt it. Basically all of Hyrule want him as their king,even the nobles & high society gave him their aproval, but he doesnt budge. Zelda explains that he wont have to anything, to leave all desicions and boring stuff to her but nope. The country is caos, they need a king, everywhere panic, malicious plots arise, zelda wont marry (1/2)

anyone else. Just when all seems to be the end, a very stressed out Link cracks and finally confesses that the reason why he doesnt want to be king is because he cant grow a beard. He has seen the paintings, all of Hyrule's kings have the most fancy kingly beard, but the most he gets is patches of scruffle. Zelda cries. considers murdering him. they kiss and make up. Link becomes the first king of Hyrule who doesn not have a beard. King baby face. The end (2/2)

Consider this: Link takes up wood carving as a hobby and leaves his creations all around Hyrule Castle. Zelda is sitting in her study frustrated by her responsibilities and she looks up to see a small wooden carving of her wielding a bow, looking proud and strong, and powers through the rest of her work. The next time she sees Link , she gives him a big kiss on the lips and asks him to start making more carvings, because he is quite good and she loves to see them around her castle.
