American city names in English

Okay just letting everyone know this is by NO means whatsoever a complete list of all cities, it’s just a few that I remembered!! Many American cities, and in some states almost all, are named in a different language. Not that not all have retained the meaning they previously held and most have been “Americanized” and/or the names have been simplified in spelling and pronunciation. 

*I’m aware Anaheim doesn’t mean home in German! I was focusing on the part that is “heim” as Anaheim is more of a combination of two areas and the name has been combined as well (heim does mean home)!
