things to hold in my hands

After work I like to paint my nails

Sit out on the stoop

Treat myself right

Have a quiet lil moment just for me

I’ve been painting them clear

I just like to be shiny

roll the bottle back and forth in my palms

My hands are always cold but I guess they’re warm enough to help

After work I like to have a little toke

out the kitchen on the back steps

sit right in that shiny spot and take a deep breath

feel like I’m breathing in w my family

cant wait to roll one for my mom when we’re together

I’ll do it up real nice like Curran taught me

roll it back and forth in my fingers real gentle

we’ll take a deep breath and her laughin will be magic

After work I like to take my medicine

sit on the corner of my bed while my hunny feeds the cats

roll the tiny bottle back and forth in my hands

Andy says everything’s the same and they’re right

lady sits on my lap which makes it a little trickier but it’s worth it cuz then I can smell her little head instead of tasting pennies

when I’m done I look at my baby and he’s so proud of me.

he gives me a hug and it’s the best thing in the world

After work I like to hug my baby
