So, crawling out of my hole on the last week of summer, I'm here with a small starter call !

1,2,3.. Aha, here we go! Ahem..

Wonât you help us find out?
Funmond City is a multifandom roleplay group taking place on Discord.
The setting of an experiment is overused and cliche, but it shouldnât make the experience of Funmond any less entertaining! We hope to provide a relaxed but entertaining roleplaying enviorement for all of our members!

{ So a little while after I dropped off the face of the earth here, my server you see here really kicked off. My muse for Vince came back so I'll be active here again if anyone even cares by this point but!
I muse Vincent in this server, and we have Gilbert there as well. We would be really happy to have more PH cast members, so if this interests you or you'd like to give it a try, please don't hesitate to do so! }
âAh, Master, itâs a pleasure seeing you again~ Itâs been a while, no?â
It was almost scandalous to call this man, to call a man of the Vessalius household to meet like this, but since when did Vincent care of such customs? After all, he never once said a word about his brother serving their family, did he?
âIt may seem a bit sudden, but I wanted to spend some time with you today if you would allow it.â
It was.. more than unusual for him to do this, but for once he had no other plans.. For once he could relax, and there was no other person who would do so wonderfully for this purpose than Jack. Yes, Vincent allowed himself to selfishly seek a joyful time like this again.
After all.. Who knows how many chances like this he has left.
@falsemask
It had been a complete accident, almost stumbling over her contractor sleeping in the hall. Her first instinct had been to go somewhere else, to run somewhere else, in fact. Vincent wasnât exactly the kindest of masters, and it was obvious how he disliked the blue-haired Chainâs human form. But she had felt obligated to wake him, as it was her power that made him so sleepy. Ergo, it was her fault he was like that.
âWould you rather Yamane was a mouse?â She questioned, speaking in third person yet again. People had told her to stop doing that, but she couldnât help it. Or at least, that was what she said. It was more likely she just couldnât be bothered to change her manner of speaking.
She frowned, thinking back to the incident that had happened not more than five minutes ago. âYour brother, He wound the key because he was curious - Yamane doesnât think he knew about her. He was rather confused when Yamane woke up.â With the question answered, the mouse sat on a stair, watching him intently in case of more questions. Or an order. Â
A sigh leaves him for a moment as he sits up, running his fingers through his hair for a moment to just sober up from the sudden change in position after sleeping for an admittingly longer while.
âNo, no itâs... fine. Itâs merely surprising. Itâs... not like you are needed to use your abilities at the moment anyhow, so be at ease.â
Speaking still didnât come so naturally at the moment, ugh.. His throat felt so dry.. Heâs ought to get some water soon, just how long was he asleep? No matter, at the mention of his brother, Vincentâs eyes widen for a second. Why was he..?Â
âGil? You mean to say he came home? How did I not know this? Oh dear..â
And there it was, a forming headache. Just when he thought heâd get to rest..

A moment more, a second more..
Is what heâd say normally, but right now he was for once glad he was being woken up. He fell asleep in the hallway again, near the staircase no less. And if it wasnât for Dormouse... Wait..
Dormouse woke him up?
Oh no.
âAh.. You are in that form again, I see.â
He canât help being a bit bitter, after all this wasnât the prefered form for more than one reason, but right now the main reason was the fact it wasnât quiet.
â...Who did it this time?â
@sleepy-dormouse-yamane seems to be ruining yet another nap in the halls.
Well, the blog is being used again as an indie one this time around so, consider this a starter call with no cap as of now.
I want to write as much as I can.
âNot mind my clothing! â Vincent! I have been looking for you! You are     amazing at keeping yourself hidden from me!â
With a smile; the last thing Jack seemed concerned about was the chilly weather. He could barely feel it anyway. He had long ago grown use to the feeling of chill running over his skin. If anything, it was refreshing.
But his main focus was no upon Vincent as the blonde leans forward; a grin being on his face before he placed his hands firmly on his hips. Finding himself rather pleased for some reason.Â
âI have come all this way to give you a present!     I figured that I should get you something,     I do hope I am not too late for this.â
With that, Jack pulled from behind him a small little box. It was covered in a golden wrapping with a single red ribbon that held the covering together. Inside, was something that Jack believed Vincent would use more frequently then anything else. He knew of Vincentâs likes for doll tearing.
âWell you are more than amazing at finding me.â
A laugh leaves him before he watches as the other leans in closer and Vincent can already get a thought of where this is going. No, he hopes not-
And all hopeâs lost.Â
A gift. Such a simple box with a ribbon yet Vincent feels something. He feels warmth in his chest, he feels something tugging at his lips, a light and warm pressure in his eyes. He feels calm, he feels happy.
And that is bad. He isnât supposed to feel that way, he isnât allowed to. He didnât deserve even that much thought given to him and yet his selfishness is what causes him to reach out and take the box into his hands. The weight is familiar..
âYou shouldnât have. Itâs tomorrow anyway, and just a few words would have been more than enough. I do appreciate it but you shouldnât have gone out of your way for me.â
Here it comes again, tomorrow would be his birthday and come dawn heâll be greeted by nothing but empty wishes from the servants and most likely no honest congratulations. Then again, he had no reason to care.Â
What was there to be congratulated?
A birth of a curse?
Another year he managed to survive until he fulfils his goal?
Or perhaps another tick of the clock counting down his time left here..?Â
Somehow, that last idea made the most sense. Most wanted him gone or wouldnât care so that is perhaps a thing worth rising cheers for.
He thinks of it as he walks, the sun had already set, the red haze extinguished and replaced by the dark night sky. It reminds him of his brother, dark and beautiful and so much more pleasant to look at than those red and yellow hues of the sunset.
His brother.. Will he bother coming back to the manor tomorrow? Vincent didnât quite believe he should even wish for it, that he was allowed to.Â
That is when a familiar figure pulls him from his thoughts. It seemed that this man would always find Vincent at his worst, but it was a welcome presence none the less.
âGood evening. Isnât it a bit chilly to stroll around like that, Master?â

âDonât leave me again.â It was a childish pout disguised as a threat. She couldnât be angry. His words soothed her like they always had, and she clung to them for reassurance. Even among the Baskervilles Noise had felt the others keep their distance, but not her Vincent. He accepted her and soothed her loneliness and that was why sheâd do anything for him and tear apart anyone who tried to separate them again.
She followed his lead as they climbed the stairs, a girl who could be so cruel falling for his lies so innocently. âHey⊠is this where they made you stay?â Vincent had said âweâ, so he must not be the only one placed on this floor. âI can make everyone leave if you want. Then we can have the place to ourselves.â Noise didnât feel like having their time intruded on.
âI am not going to, ever ever again.â
Who in their right mind would believe such a lie? Ah.. Right. Neither of them could be considered as someone in their right mind. Perhaps that was why it could work.
âYes, this is my home for now. Not as refined as the Nightray manor but itâll suffice.âÂ
The slow and graceful steps as usual didnât cease as he spoke, in fact, they grew just a bit faster as Noise followed him. Her offer actually made the man chuckle a bit. How sweet of her.
âThank you for the offer, but I think Iâll pass. Thereâs not many people in the apartment so we should be able to have some time to ourselves.â
Itâs been years but here I am with a small ca rp ad !!
Capping at 3!
resoundingstrings:
That was all the invitation Noise needed to bury her face into his chest, sinking into Vincentâs embrace. She had always felt different. Unaccepted and rejected even by the BaskervillesâŠ.But not with Vincent. When Noise was with him, she felt normal. Because they were the same.
âTwo years. Youâve kept me waiting.â Her voice was muffled by the folds of his clothes, but there was still an audible pout to it. Like she expected him to be here even though she knew that he couldnât control his arrival even if he wanted to.
âFineâŠLetâs go.â Said softer this time, Noise reached for his hand. Wherever they were going, it didnât matter to her, so long as she had his time to herself. In this moment, the city had disappeared and no one else mattered.
âHas it truly been that long? I am truly sorry dear. But now I will truly make it up to you, for all the time I wasnât here.â
Some would wonder if he had any shame in spilling sugary lies like this, making promises that are nothing but misleading words. In truth, all Noise was to him was a friend and a tool on occasion.
How digusting was it of him then, how cruel was he to gently run his fingers through her short hair as he spoke, his breathing light as he listened to hers? How absolutely despicable of him to take her hand so tenderly in his own, holding it in a reassuring emrace that would make many feel safe.
But it was fine, sheâd never know.
âWhat a good girl you are Noise. If we have some sweets in the apartment, perhaps Iâll give you some shall you wish for them,â
And so he headed to the stairs once again, his steps light and slow, as if he genuinely wanted to spend more time with her.
How laughable.

Jack couldnât help but allow a small laugh escape his lips. Yes, Vincent has always been persistence in following Gilbertâs example. Jack was still not quite use of such a superior title being given to him. âMore times than I can recall, â you have always been quite stubborn.â
Shaking his head upon old memories, Jack approached the grown boy.
â⊠Look at you, youâve grown so much since I last saw you. â I can still remember when you could only reach up to my knees.â That was so long ago.
With a laugh, Jack reaches over, ruffling the golden locks. His gaze focused on the red eye for a second. Vincent didnât seem to cover his eyes all too much anymore.
âGoodness! You grew to be quite the looker! â Has my little Vincent become a heart breaker?â
A small laugh of his own came then, it was not the hysteric or maniacal kind he grew used to, it was a genuinely joyful sound that left his lips.
"That might be, but could you really blame a child for following the example of his older sibling?"
Oh, if only Vincent was truly such a good and kind person like Gilbert. So naive, so kind and yet so cruel.. Yes, an endearing person indeed.
"Well, it has been such a long time. I'd be concerned if I hadn't grown!"
He almost flinched at the gentle and playful touch in his hair. He wasn't quite used to the treatment as kind and pure hearted as that. Yet another thing he unconciously craved yet stepped away from. He was a human after all, and humans wish to be treated with love. That alone made him stay and let this person, the man he trusted more than most, touch him. Even if it was for a brief moment.
The comment about his looks however... It made something in him feel almost ashamed. Was repulsed a better thing to call it? He didn't know. But even so, he was somewhat happy that his looks were praised. They were just about the only thing people found lovable about him these days.
And that was when he couldn't help getting a bit playful himself, he had a tendency to tease people a bit at times, after all.
"I suppose that's what you might call me. I have shared beds with quite a few ladies, after all."
Of course none of it was out of love, not even lust. But that would be a story that won't be told.

It felt strange, to be praised for his own wrongdoing. Although they thought of him as the hero, right? â What they donât know⊠is for the better. However it was of this unknowing nature that everyone seemed to hold, was how it has become nearly impossible to be left alone, much less be near his ah - Ozâs person.
Luckily, he had manged to break free from the attention and eyes of others, sending his apologies for his quick escape. Finally he was able to breath without eyes watching his every⊠Master.
What an odd⊠â turning around, green eyes immediately lock onto a young man with golden hair.
The moment he looked, something clicked in his mind. That red eye, a child of misfortune⊠ââŠVincent?â There was surprised lanced in his voice, how could the boy⊠oh.. thatâs right.
Suddenly, a soft smile appears on the blondeâs lips. He was so grown up! â But Jack can recongize him anywhere. And to think, this had been a little boy that had ran into his arms so long ago.
â⊠heh â how many times have I told you to call me big brother?â
Nothing but a small nod was given as his name was said,Â
He couldnât do much more if he tried. His head was a mess, his emotions started surfacing and he didnât know how to handle this situation.
He wasnât ready for this.
He didnât know how to react but seeing Jackâs gentle smile and his way of speech told him to let that happiness and what little kindness he still had in him thread into his words.
And so, a smile found itâs way to his face.
âAnd how many times have I insisted on calling you the same way Gil does?â
Who would have thought, who would have ever thought it to be possible?
This wasnât Sablier. This man standing before him was not an illusion or a fragment of memories that place was full of. It was not a painful reminder of the hero long since gone.
It was the man himself.
But it couldnât be! Jack.. Jack was dead for a century. His body was destroyed.. This.. This made no logical sense whatsoever!Â
And yet... Did it truly need to make sense? The person who saved him and his brother, the person who was so kind to a child of misfortune was standing before Vincent and that was all that mattered.Â
â... Master.â
The word rolled off his tongue without thinking. It was a habit and a name he insisted on calling the other by, despite Jackâs attempts to get him to call the man big brother instead.
The man didnât move from his spot, no way he could. Shock did itâs job to his body but there was another feeling. A warm feeling in his chest. A thing he canât afford to feel so often.
Happiness.

Echo froze when she heard the voice. A voice that even now made her feel small. It belonged to a man she had once served, but how could she express that here, she was not anyoneâs servant? His arrival in the new life sheâd made for herself filled her with unease, and that hesitation was enough for Noise to step in.
Of course Noise had also heard, and unlike Echo she wanted to speak to him.
âVincent.â A part of Noise didnât want to believe he was here. He would leave again, inevitably, like everyone did. But the part of Noise that missed him won out and the next moment she was closing the distance between them.
âWhat took you so long?â Voice demanding and yet childish at the same time, she gripped the front of his shirt, leaning in to feel that he was here and he was real.
It had been so lonely.
The change in the tone was all too familiar to Vincent. This was no longer Echo, no.. This was the girl that loved him oh so foolishly. For a moment the man doubted that the time she spent here would have been enough for her to change.
But the foolish thought was gone in an instant at the childish yet demanding behaviour. As if it could disappear so easily.
âI couldnât imagine coming here, honestly. But now that I am here I am so glad to have you here as well.â
The words were almost a sweet whisper as his arms wrapped around the shorter female. The usual sugar coated words couldnât be helped, assuring that he has someone like Noise on his side would be too beneficial to pass up.
A small and gentle kiss is soon placed on her forehead, his tone gentle as he speaks up again.
âSay.. Would you join me for a small talk up the stairs? I could appreciate a dear personâs company after wandering around so much.â
