disbelief ran rampant -- dimitri was IN LOVE with evan ? surely he had to just be saying these things to try and rile them up, right ? even if it was forced for such reasoning however, it most definitely still struck a nerve. anger, disgust and sheer disappointment was evident, trying to think about the fact that regardless, dimitri had ended up with tony now and that was all that mattered, right ? it was the reason they were here, after all, not that they would outright admit such, they would play up to it first and foremost. clearing her throat, sharon attempted to put words together, tried to think of what to say that wouldn’t make it sound like she SUPPORTED the love between dimitri and evan, but she also didn’t want to sound like she was essentially pushing the russian away ; that way they wouldn’t get what they came for, and they refused to let that happen. elliot looked on in disbelief, unable to even say a word since he knew he would have raged entirely.

if looks could surely kill, then dimitri would be on his last legs. hearing him say that evan was wonderful made sharon feel nauseous -- a drug addicted lowlife they had given up, a boy so idiotic that he chose toxins over bettering himself for his own parents, to both of them, there was absolutely nothing wondrous about that or evan in general. ❝ ------ wonderful ? they hadn’t expected dimitri to act in such a way, sure they would expect such behavior from evan, but the opposing seemed so much DIFFERENT ; he was almost like the complete opposite of him in their eyes, therefore having assumed that he would welcome them back with open arms, especially everything that had happened with miro. they were immensely deluded in such sense however, believing that they had done no wrong and could do no wrong, as entirely messed up as that logic was considering they would most certainly win the worst parents award by a damn landslide. scoff instantly became audible at the prospect of CRYING over lost son, the mere thought of showcasing emotions even when they would have to force such to get what they want, something that made both sharon and elliot feel SICKLY.
