They say home is where the heart is, and they're right. However, my home is not with a materialistic thing, nor is it with a certain place, house, etc... No... My home is with a beautiful, amazing, caring, loving, perfect girl. She has my heart, and always will. SHE has my heart, and SHE is my home.
Over this past week, I did something I've never done before: I flew to another state. Never in my life, did I ever think I would fly off to distant lands, to visit someone, but I did it, and let me tell you... I had the time of my life there!
On November 2nd, 2018... I arrived at Dtroit Metro Airport, for the very first time. I was really nervous and scared, because I had never done anything like this, before, but as soon as I stepped off that plane, and went into the airport, I called up My Love. We both were very giggly and happy, but also nervous, as we hadn't seen each other in 2 1/2-3 months. It might not seem like a long time, but did us, it seemed like ages. She guided me to where I need to go, and stayed on the phone with me, the whole time. When I got to the glass doors, after we hung up, I saw her standing there, as a huge smile overtook my face. We soon engulfed each other in a big hug, taking in the warmth and comfort we craved for so long. She also bought be flowers: daisies and a white rose. (She is so cheesy, but I love it, so much!) I started tearing up, as I mumbled, "I'm home, Baby." To her, the smile never leaving my face.
When we eventually got back to her house, and went into her room, I ser my stuff down, and My Love and I took some pictures. We talked for a little bit, as we laid on her bed and cuddled, before sleep eventually took over us. (We had been up since the really early hours of the morning).
When we awoke, we started getting ready for the night ahead of us. Me, My Love, and our friend, all went out to Dave and Buster's, somewhere I had never been before! I had such an amazing time! It was definitely an awesome experience!
My Love took me to my very first convention; Youmacon! It all truly an amazing experience! I didn't cosplay, but my beautiful girl did, and she looked absolutely stunning in her cosplay! I got to see/meet some interesting and cool people, as well as buying some really awesome things! I can't wait to go back, next year!!
Later that night, I got to experience my very first time at a night club! Me, My Gorgeous Girl, her siblings, and our friend, all went. I had such a blast! The music was great! The atmosphere was kickass! Unfortunately... I ended up drinking a little too much, and got very nauseous. My Amazing Soulmate took care of me the entire night, though. She didn't once leave my side, and she made sure that I slept throughout the night. I cannot thank her enough, for that!!💙💖💜❤
This day was My Amazing Girl's birthday!! I'm so, so freaking happy I got to spend it with her!! We went out to eat with her family, and later on, we had cake! It was so good!
Fast forward to November 9th, 12:30 AM, 2018...
I asked her if we could got to her old stomping grounds, (a park she used to play at, when she was younger,) because I wanted to have a long talk with her, about things... I could tell she was concerned, but I told her she didn't have to worry, and that everything was okay. When we arrived, we sat down on the side of the hill, as I asked her innocent questions of where she sees us in the future, and things like that, all the while, I had a surprise for her. After a little while, I asked her to stand up. We walked to the top of the hill, and I asked her to close her eyes and put her hands over them, just in case. She did so, and as I was very nervously telling her things, I said, "You're my girlfriend, but don't want you to be my girlfriend..." She chuckled, and asked if I was breaking up with her. I shook my h as a small, and gave a small laugh, as I explained that I didn't want her to be my girlfriend, because I wanted her to be my wife. At this point, I had told her to open her eyes. When she saw me kneeling on one knee, and proposing, a wide smile overtook her face, as tears poured down her cheeks. She started walking backwards, as she covered her mouth. I pulled her ik nto me and hugged, asking her, "What do you say, Baby?" After a minute or so, she nodded her head, saying, "Yes!" I say so overjoyed, that I felt my own eyes water from the excitement. We couldn't believe that we were engaged!
The hardest day... My last day with My Beautiful Fiancé... It's bittersweet... We cuddled, hugged, and just held each other for hours, until I had to go... I didn't know ant to leave her... I really didn't... The walk into the airport was agonizing, and the anticipation of having to go through security, was even worse... We hugged each other tightly, as neither of us wanted to let go, but, unfortunately, I had to go... I wanted so badly just to turn around and say, "Fuck it," but... We both knew that wasn't possible... We gave each other one last kiss, before I headed through security. We waved to each other, as the tears just poured down our faces... This time... Was the hardest departure we have had...
Home is where the heart is, and My Beautiful Fiancé, Taylor Lynne, has my heart.
Baby... I promise that I will come home to you. I promise. When that time comes, we will no longer have to worry about flying, airports, or parting, again. I will come home to you, Baby. Eventually.
