Hiii :) It wasn’t intentional, I was just so bored with everything and I only wanted to read and write. I was also celibate for two and a half years during this time. It was full monk mode. I just had the urge to purify without realizing it. Now I have such a low tolerance for tv and movies and it has to be worth my time. It might be rigid to some people but even when I enjoyed lazily watching reality TV each night, I could feel my world and my possibilities shrinking.

But something I did notice is how my connections increased. We often don’t realize how much our bonds with people are based on shared media interests. Like if your favorite date night is watching a movie rather than exploring and talking…. Then maybe that is a comfort relationship more than anything. And i just don’t have relationships like that now other than with my sisters.
