Uh I guess since I have 269 (nice) followers now, I may as well introduce myself?
Hi. I’m Tory but you can also call me Spectrum. I’m one of three hosts of the spectrum five system and one of two alters with a special interest in mcyt (the other one is a bit too young to be on tumblr lol).
This blog is for me to infodump about my mcyt interests and reblog cool stuff. I’m mostly into dsmp and osmp if that wasn’t obvious. We’ve been into Minecraft and mcyt for many years, and recently my interest has resurfaced. My favorite dsmp members and some of my favorite streamers overall are Tommy, Techno, Foolish, Puffy, Jack, Quackity, and Karl.
Our body’s age is 20, although my age can fluctuate between 16ish and 24ish. Among other things, we’re diagnosed with autism, schizophrenia, and DID. We are biracial and Palestinian-American. I personally identify as transfem, acespec, butch, and lesbian. My pronouns are ze/hir/hirs/hirself, she/her/hers/herself, or they/them/their/theirs/themself.
However, if you’re tme (transmisogyny-exempt, not a transfem) and you only use they/them for me, or you default to they/them when criticizing or arguing with me, I will block you.
Uhhhh I’m too lazy to have an actual dni so I’ll just block you if I feel like it lol.
A lot of what’s in my bio is meant to be taken as a joke- I’m not actually a Girl Dream kinnie, the smp just needs more women lol. “My gender is anime technoblade” just means that I get gender envy from a lot of techno fanart. C!Dream apologists can interact, I just don’t want to see people justifying his actions. It’s a personal preference. C!Tommy is by far my favorite character on the smp so I am extremely biased in his favor and I will admit that.
Don’t follow me if you’re uncomfortable with cursing. I’m genuinely sorry but I can’t contain it.
If you think there’s something “problematic” about enjoying mcyt or Minecraft related content in general yet you like things like Steven Universe, Homestuck, Harry Potter, Marvel, Harley Quinn, D:BH, TMA, mp100, BNHA, JoJo, RWBY, various kpop groups, classic rock bands, etc. ... Take a good long look in the mirror. You can like or dislike any one of these things, I don’t care. But to suggest that there’s such a thing as “unproblematic media” is to be blind to the reality that oppression is systemic and society-wide. I don’t think I’ve ever had an interest in anything that didn’t contain some amount of racism, transmisogyny, ableism, or homophobia, however minor, but I can enjoy and be critical of the things I like at the same time. Be critical of all the media you consume, including things you consider “unproblematic” because the truth is that they’re not.
I think that’s everything.
Yeah.
