We as ourselves must make the choice to choose spirit over flesh...right over wrong etc. without God’s help or guidance we sometimes have difficulty doing things in moderation. We may eat too much, spend too much money on foolish things, have too much entertainment, talk too much.. we as humans do tend to do things excessively because we react & behave emotionally and after the thing is done and cannot be undone, we regret doing it to begin with...However we can choose to form new habits for ourselves like not doing something just because we feel like it but instead choosing to do what will produce the best result in the end.
