Not once, in your entire life, did you ever think that you’d be working in an office, in a high-rise in NYC, with a direct view of the city from your desk. But that is exactly what you were doing, now. Flipping your paperwork over, you set your pen down, and stood, stretching, as you moved towards the wall of windows, peering out at the city. You still hadn’t been able to decide which view you liked better - New York in the daylight, or New York at night.
Not that you took the view in at night much until recently. At least, not from your office.
But tonight was the third night in a row that you had been tasked with working late. Not only were you there to finish up paperwork and make sure copies were made for your boss’ court case, starting Bright and Early Monday morning, but you also had to be there while IT updated all the systems in the office.
